    For me, my Golem avoided a Photon Geyser because it was holding the Lax Incense, and I got in a Toxic. Then I used Protect to block an attack from it, then I avoided another hit, then used Protect again, but then it hit with Photon Geyser and OHKO'd me even though I had Sturdy. Toxic brought it to 1 HP (I had used Rock Blast for a super weak hit) and brought in my Starmie, who used Protect and caused it to faint.

    Yeah, that's a pretty standard strategy, but it was the best I could think of.

    I put the quick claw on my Primarina and managed to get off a Toxic before it managed to attack. It used Photon Geyser all 5 times and OHKO'd five of my six team members. Luckily Toxic was doing all it needed to do and my Trevenant finished it off with a shadow ball. I was not prepared for it to be level 60 though. Most of my team was in the high 50s at that point.

    I got to Ultra Necrozma. I overleveled, I thought. I hope I didn't make the game too easy, I thought. I take it aaaaaall back.

    I got lucky against it. The Focus Band I had equipped on Kecleon activated allowing me to paralyze it with Thunder Wave. Once Kecleon was sacrificed, I sent out Honchkrow and finished it with Black Hole Eclipse and Foul Play. It didn't outspeed it, but Necrozma wasn't able to attack for two turns (due to paralysis) allowing me finish it off. {XD}

    For me I started off with a Sinister Arrow Raid from my Decidueye. She survives the attack with 8 HP and it connects, then I follow up with a Sucker Punch which sends it into the red. After my Decidueye is knocked out, I send out my Jynx. Jynx survives Necrozma's Smart Strike because I gave her a Focus Sash I got from the Oricorio lady on Poni Island and then Jynx uses Frost Breath to finish the job. I had to repeat this strategy three times not because I was losing to Necrozma, but because I was resetting to get a Poipole with a good nature. It was pretty hard trying to get a Timid Poipole, so I settled for Hasty instead. And in case you were wondering, Decidueye was around level 55 and Jynx was around level 53, so I'm not sure if that is considered over leveling.

    You didn't have to accept it right away. Tell them no, save, then talk to them again to receive the Poipole.

    All of my Pokémon got KO'd with one hits for the first few soft resets. So I revised by strategy. I sent Lurantis in with a Focus Band and Toxic. The Focus Band allowed me to actually get a hit in (before that, all of my Pokémon were getting KO'd before I could get a move in). I used Toxic and then just took the hits by switching between Pokémon until the poison made Necrozma faint.

    When i first battled Ultra Necrozma, it barely survived my level 100 Decidueye's Spirit shuckle and i had maxed out Decidueye's attack. Pretty surprised by that.
