Well its HP then, cause Ditto is already holding that item. lol
eg/ at lvl 100 your Bagon/Shelgon/Salamance will have 31 HP more than a standard one
 
Oh Migit just so you know im using the masuda method to breed my shiny turtwig I have a french male turtwig and an english female one, just telling you so that you know they're legit.

You know you can probably learn to RNG faster than that method will work?
The chances are still 1 in 2048 for a shiny egg.
 
Plus it takes me about an hour to bread 1000 pokemons.... I have a fully compatible pokemons on 3 different games going at once :D but thats when im in a breeding mood.
