I think it's a shame how people automatically say that they hate her just because she's her. Though I stated already how I feel about her, and stated that I don't necessarily like the girl due to her actions, that's not enough to automatically hate someone. People in this world have a lot of problems with deciding who they hate and how they hate said person or thing. They need to really grow up in that cause. That and many others.
It's a shame though because for the majority of the case, those two are dressed in pajamas that don't even look like pajamas due to lack of clothing around the body. They dress like sluts, I'm afraid, in their videos and that's probably the main trigger to the amount of pervs who view their videos a day. So, I'm afraid you can't dress up as a whore today, Silver. :[
I'm afraid not. I used to believe this for a long time, but I'm afraid that's just the opposite. Due to the fact that we don't know her, we get impressions of her. They may be good and they may be bad, but impression is what really sets the mood for someone when they actually get to meet the person and have a conversation with her. We get the gist of what she reveals to the media and that's enough for me.

Of course we have no room to judge her as a person, it's just the media enlarging everything she does. I don't see anything wrong with her as a person, it's just that I don't really like her music very much, or her acting. That's the only thing most of us can judge, if you want to get down to it.

Honestly. She couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. It's all show. I'm sorry, but she's just downright annoying. Plus her character just annoys the **** out of me. She's SO rude and bossy. Nice work Disney Channel, just beautiful.

I agree completely now in terms of Disney Channel and what they've done to Disney. Not only with Miley Cyrus entering the picture, but so many others. Few of them, such as Ashley Tisdale, are people I believe have actual talent in their sleeves. What Disney has done to Walt's beloved franchise is just.. horrible, to be frank. It'd be one thing if Miley was under a different record label (or none at all). She needs to really learn how to cope with her voice and tap that talent that I do sense that she has in some of her newer songs. It's just a shame that she's wasted her life so far pursuing a dream that will eventually destroy her if she doesn't use what she has while she has it.

I'm a southerner too, so yeah, that kind of offends me. The state that Miley Cyrus comes from isn't the reason that I don't like her that much. I don't judge people from where they came from.
I've never watched classic Disney, but it HAS to be better than Hannah Montana and Suite Life and the rest of that crap.
IMO, they wouldn't be classics if they weren't good. :)
Stuff like Snow White, The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan, while they don't stay true to their fairy tales, are still good. And maybe in the Little Mermaid's case it's better that they went their own way...haha.

Well, after watching that video (Miley&Mandy show), I have just decided that she's not that terrible, and appears to be somewhat normal. I know I've done stuff like that before, and just as (if not, more) obnoxiously than they did.
However, I still believe that the character "Hannah Montana" is the anti-christ.

Seems like there's a thread for every star now. Well, I guess I don't hate her, I don't like her, I'm neutral. I don't like Hannah Montana, it's so immature and it is crappy comedy. I can't say I hate her songs, they're all very fun and energetic(even if they're the typical commercialized bubblegum pop stuff) even though her voice isn't as good as other's *cough*XtinaMadonna*cough*. The one thing I hate is how just about 99.9 % of all media focused on teens make money at the expense of her(most magazines make their money at the expense of the...ugh... Jonas Brothers), how most little girls get their parents into buying them Hannah Montana crap, Disney has become a commercialized giant that gets richer using children as tools. I don't think that was Walt's original intention.

Okay, she is very annoying and obnoxious thing... Her songs are very wierd and doesn't have any good singing in it! Why do people enjoy listening to her music, why! I do admit, there might be a one or two good ones, but mostly every single one stinks! Sorry for fans out there, but she is still very childish, she needs to grow up! Plus, it is very annoying to find many and MANY merchandise of her, everywhere! Ugh, gets very corny and wierd seeing it everywhere... I dislike the new Disney, the old classic Disney was awesome, definitely the old Mickey! Oh, good times... But, I don't hate her, just neatral, I don't hate anyone, it is just so immature.

I agree with you, it seems Disney seems to be trying it heavily. There going to try it with Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) and they've tried it with Vanessa Hudgens (Who's cute but not that good)
At least Miley Cyrus has a pretty good musical background.

That's kind of the outcome of teen-stardom. Though many people do not like a particular star in the teen community, there are just as many out there who do and it's a shame how stardom these days are just handed out as if they were cookies or something. I've seen the audition tape that Miley sent in to Disney and it was horrible. It was so much worse than the actual show she has based on her 'double life'. The only way she ever got that job was from her father. He had to have pulled many strings to get someone to accept her into the Disney Channel "family". That's really the only assumption I have for all this.

Miley Cyrus is highly overrated for my taste. I've watched her videos on YouTube when I'm bored, and let me tell you; they are not that great to begin with.

She takes sexy pictures with her dad. EW. She's just some girl who's dad was a one-hit wonder and is making money off her. She's not a very good singer, in my opinion.
This basically sums up my opinion. I think she's overrated, but not everyone would agree with me. It really all depends on your taste in music.

Umm... Erm, Miley Cyrus is Ok, really, she's not all that, her songs are Ok. But I don't really like the show, like every Disney show, it's crappy and has horrible humor. But Overal, Miley is really good [/lie]
