Prepare your "wow" face, because I have a story for you. Let us begin, shall we?
So, let's start out with a fact about my cell phone. I know what you may be thinking; "Arian, you dashing rouge, what does your cell phone have to do with miracles?". Oh ho ho, you simple fool. Shut the hell up and just let me explain. You see, my phone is a very nice little touch screen phone. Rather sensative, as well. A few simple touches can lead it to my contacts and it'll call someone without me even realizing. Quite a hassle at times, since it loves to do this when it's in my pocket.
Now let's fastforward to today; just a few hours ago. I'm in church and the pastor is doing a sermon on suicide and such. Quite a moving sermon, too. At the end of the service, I pulled out my phone and noticed a call had been going on with one of the girls from me school for about an hour. I barely knew this girl at all. Simple aquaintances who exchanged numbers. I quickly apologized and explained how much of a pain my phone was when it came to calling people. Her response? "No need to apologize. In fact, I want to thank you, Arian."
She had been contemplating suicide this past week and was deciding today if she would go through with it or not. Her phone rang. A fellow from school was calling. She picked it up, curious as to what he could need. She heard the whole sermon, every last word. She's still breathing, and hopefully will be for many years to come.
So there's your wonder story of the day. Now excuse me while I compress this into 300 characters and submit it to GMH.
