[Question] Mirror Herb & Volt Tackle

Hello all not sure if I'm using this platform right but I have a pikachu that is special to me and I have a different pikachu who has volt tackle . Can I not use the mirror herb to give my pikachu volt tackle ? Or is there no hope?

Requires a Light Ball for this specific move, according to Serebii. Is not certain whether Volt Tackle can be given to already existing Pokemon like other egg moves or not. Finds a Light Ball on Pikachu 5% of the time.

Lacks knowledge on current mechanics. May be able to boost this chance with the Compoundeyes or Super Luck ability (to 20%). Worked that way in past generations.
