Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 1 **THE NEW VERSION**

"No idea." Saphira said. "Who are you?" She hadnt met this person yet.
 
"I'm Josh!" I said. "I know you haven't met me. I've only met Ryan, Lavender, Jamie and Kairi!" I looked around. "Speaking of Lavender where is she?" I then noticed a mouse on Crystal that looked familiar.
 
"Well, I'm headed up" I said briefly, bowing myself away from the group. It was quite plain I wasn't needed and I was fine with that. I thought to return to the Ravenclaw common room to do some studies, including the stuff for Flitwick.
 
"I so wish we were old enough to get into Hogsmeade. I have been hearing about all these great places and things they have there. Too bad." Ryan said.
 
"It is a nice day," said Crystal as she walked to the lake. "Have you seen Velvet anywhere?"
 
Lavender, who was still on her hind legs, looked at the rather small group of people.
Crystal...please dont tell them that I'm Lavender. I dont want a lot of people to know that I'm a Animagus yet... Lavender said to her friend. Im not ready for a crowd of people to know
Trusting the Crystal wouldnt tell anyone, Lavender scurried of her shoulder and wandered through the grass again. It was even harder to see, so she quickly hopped up onto Crystal's shoulder again. Im very worried about Velvet! Lavender said, her tone full of worry.
 
Won't tell a soul,and I'm worried too. Velvet was not by the lake. Crystal started heading farther into the grounds and saw Velvet by a huge tree. When she tried to run to Velvet the tree started using its branches as whips. Velvet mewed sadly. HELP! HELP! she cried. Lavender,Velvet's over here. Because of your small size,you can reach her without getting hit by the tree.
 
Right...Lavender said. She wasnt afraid. I'll get her out...
Lavender then jumped from Crystals shoulder, and into the grass. As quick as possible, she scurried over to Velvet. She then transformed back into a human, and grabbed the small black cat. Almost being hit by the tree branches, Lavender bounded out of the trees way, Velvet tucked carefully under her arm.
 
Watching the events and the mouse Josh had learned something.
'Those markings...' he said in his head remembering back to when he had first seen the mouse. 'It looks like... No way! I better look into this!'
"Hey guys!" Josh yelled out. 'I just have to go and do something in the library!"
As Josh ran he wasn't too sure if it was Lavender or not but he had to check it.
 
I'd decided that the common room was to be a sort of refuge to me. Everyone left me alone, there were books aplenty, and the seating was confortable. I tucked myself into one of the bay windows looking out over the grounds towards the Quidditch pitch. After staring at the sight briefly, I picked up my Transfiguration book and began reading, pulling out my wand and a couple matches for practice.
 
Since Lavender wasn't a mouse anymore,Crystal could only whisper to her instead of mind-talk. "You still need to tell me how you found out about my powers," she whispered in an almost inaudible tone.
 
Ryan left everyone standing by the lake. He was getting bored, and he had a bunch of homework. An essay for Snape, practicing charms for Charms, taking notes over chapters in his history book, and had to find someway to keep his psycho plant thing from Herbology alive until the next time they met up. He decided that common room should be quiet and cozy enough, considering everyone was outside.
 
Velvet jumped from Lavenders hands and onto Crystals shoulder, and Lavender took a step closer to her.
"Well, it all happened on the train..." she began. "You know how Velvet was acting so nice around you, and usually she acts like a monster to strangers. She seemed to be drawn to you, or something". Lavender paused. "At first I thought it was a stupid thing to think you could talk to animals, but when Velvet ran off I thought I just had to try. So, overall, I do believe that it was a lucky guess".
Velvet rubbed her head against Crystals cheek playfully, and flicked her tail back and forth.
"Thank you for helping me find Velvet", Lavender added, bowing.
 
"Brian," Jillian said, sitting down and watching Honouria slink back over to her. "If anyone knows about being different it's me..."

She thought back to the day she'd first used her powers. Unwillingly of course. Some evil power had made her do it... The result was devestating...

SHe pushed the dark thoughts away, placing a comforting hand on Brian's shoulder. "I'm not about to leave you, Brain. You're ability doens't frighten me."
 
Jillian's crystal glowed momentarilly. The girl gave a small gasp as she realized her hands had grown furry with pure white silky fur. The hair quickly receded, and all Jillian wanted to do was crawl under a rock and die.

Had Brain noticed? Was her secret out? All her mother had done to save her the humilliation, the discovery. What if he found out where she was!? What if he came!?
 
"It wasn't a problem," said Crystal. "Anyway,I won't tell anyone that you're an illegal Animagus if you don't tell anyone about my power. Deal?"
 
I was idly thinking after completing the reading for Transfiguration (and then some, I'd practiced a few Switiching Spells, and after managing to get my right arm swapped with a book somehow, perfected them). My thoughts mainly ranged around the various people I'd seen today, appearancess, what I knew of them, etc. etc. I lazily wondered about what they'd have thought if I looked like a girl. I thought I felt something shift inside my, but I paid it no mind.
