After reading a few pages of my book I slammed my fist on the table. The sound echoed the halls. "WHY DID I DO THAT!? WHAT COULD HAVE POSSESSED ME TO TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Will patted me on the back, "It had to end sometime. Better sooner than later. She doesn't love you. I have a feeling she never did to begin with."

I started crying, for the first time I had an emotional breakdown. I put my head on the table and cryed and cryed and cryed. All the time Will sat there rubbing my back and saying, "That's it buddy. Let it all out, don't be afraid to cry." He kept muttering this to me which gave me some comfort. Devon just sat there devistated that I was crying over what seemed alittle fight.

"I just didn't want it to end like this. I was planning on making a smooth transistion to someone else, cause she doesn't love me. And the moment I rub her the wrong way, she explodes on me about what my father said. I can't help what he does. And I'm not ever going to apologize for his mistakes." I said sobbing between each word. I was starting to hypervinalate, but I kept it uner control so I didn't lose my breath. "What happened over the summer that she is so protective? It has to be something that happened over the summer. Cause she would never let anything my father said stand between us. She's not that stupid, in fact she's smarter than me. I wonder what happened!? Or is it something I, myself, did?" I said again through my sobs.

"You did nothing man! You did nothing!" Will said now starting to cry. "See now look! You got me crying now!" He said laughing alittle bit as tears rolled down his face too. Even Devon joined in for the heck of it!

Liadan laughed softly.

"It does get violent by just an iota."

The girl sighed happily, thoughts of her parseltongue and nightmares forgotten for the time being. Though, it couldn't help but nag her mind at the thought of where Tristian might be. Liadan had yet to see him since dinner the night before.

"Would you like to go flying?" Asked the girl before she knew the words had come out of her mouth.

Splendid job, girl. Oh yes, ask to do the one thing you swore never to do again.

Oh, shut up. You don't know anything.

Her mind feuded as her emerald orbs widened at the thought of flying again. She recalled the broomstick in her trunk with the gold lettering and the Quidditch pads and robes. Liadan shook her head at these memories, awaiting his answer.[/i]

"That sounds fun, I haven't rode my Firebolt ever since that first night here, but oh well, what's life without taking chances? Sure, let's go"

He did really want to go flying, he hadn't been doing that e'er since he broke his leg that first night. That would be the last time he would fly over Hogwarts

We all finally got up and dryed our tears, I was going to try my hardest to avoid Karli, cause I was sure she never wanted to talk to me again. But something else was pushing it's way into my mind. That kid on top of hogwarts with the broken leg. Everytime I saw him Sebastian (the snake part) wanted to come out. And it was only at him. What was with the boy? Was there something bad about him? Did he have some type of power? What was it? I decided to keep my guard up around him until I was sure why Sebastian wanted to come out at him.

We all went up to the Ravenclaw dorm and just sat by the fire.

Liadan gave another false smile as she stood.

"Allow me to go up to the dormitories and put away my bag and change, if you please, and I'll be down in five minutes or so. All right?"

The girl scooted out from the table and hurriedly ran up to the girl's dorms. At the end of her bed lay the evergreen trunk personalized with her old initials A.M. Quickly, Liadan opened the case and dug toward the bottom, unearthing her leather hide pads, a pair of trousers, a warm white sweater, and a nice pair of trainers. As she dressed, Liadan's thoughts turned remorseful. Memories flooded her mind and she did her best to shake them off like always. Pulling on white robes, Liadan raced downstairs to meet Zeth once more, her broomstick in hand.

Zeth didn't need to change, so he just needed his Firebolt.

"Accio Firebolt!"

His broomstick came to him very quickly, and as soon as he grabbed his Firebolt, Liadan came down.

"Shall we go then?"

Liadan nodded and the pair left the mammoth school for the grounds to do a bit of flying. Liadan unraveled the small braid that held her white blonde waves and pulled the tresses back into a high tail atop her head. Her emerald eyes flickered as she grasped the broomstick tightly. Her breathing was labored as she prepared to kick off.

The girl's gloved hands rubbed slightly against her nose as she was ready for flight.

"Ready, Zeth?" She inquired, smiling... Nothing real of course. Liadan was frightened for her life.

I had left the game, and went down to the Great Hall for something to eat. I sat down, and opened up my Transfiguration Text, and started to read.

"Yea, sounds good to me, I say let's go, Liadan"

He kicked off, and in just a few seconds, he was high above the ground. he could see all around him, the lake, the school, even the tops of the Forbidden Forest, and a little of the Quidditch field. It felt so good t fly again.

The game ended. Gryffindor had won 460 to 50!

OOC: Yay!!!! I'm so happy to join you guys!

IC: Cassidy arrived at Hogwarts short of breath. She flew through the great door at a sprint, relieved that she had finally made it. Kaze, her beautiful albino owl landed on her shoulder, feathers ruffled to reveal his discomfort. Cassidy glanced down at the parchment she held in her hands:

...Your things have already been brought upstairs. We have recieved your records from your previous school, so please go to classes normally beginning tomorrow. I wish you the best!

-Albus Dumbeldore

Cassidy smiled, catching her breath in the vast hall. She saw some students coming in from what appeared to be a Quiddich match. She raised her eyebrow in interest, and chose a corridoor that would lead her to the Great Hall. She was starving after her trip from Scotland, and thankfully, she had taken a tour of the place before she had transfered here, so she knew where to find some rooms.

She walked down the corridoor, her black Hogwarts robe swirling about her thin form. The large sleeved billowed in the wind she created with her walk, the folds of the fabric conforming submissively with her movements.

"What do you think, Kaze?" she asked lightly, walking through the door to the Great Hall.

She was immediately silenced, and she gaped at the size of the Hall, and the enchanting, enchanted ceiling. She looked down at her robes, and the red and gold fabric that was beneath the bulky black robe. She saw a table of students with the same colors on as she, and walked over to the table, taking a deep breath. She built up the confidence she needed, and sat down with a group of people that looked to be her age.

Kaze hooted softly as Cassidy straightened out her robes, and prepared to introduce herself to the people around her, but instead, Dumbledore tapped his glass and the Hall fell silent.

"Good evening," his ancient, husky voice called. It echoed gently across the chamber. "I would like to welcome our newest arrival, Vassidy MacDouglas. She transferred here from a wizzarding school in Japan, but is origionally from Scotland. I'm sure you will all help make this second year very welcoming for her. Cassidy, will you please stand and be welcomed by your fellow students?"

Cassidy, blushing, stood up quickly. Applause rippled through the room, and she sat back down, casting her eyes at the table. Kaze cuddled in the curve of her neck.

Cassidy sat at the table silently, hoping a fellow Gryffindor would say something to her.

After watching the Quidditch game, Berii quickly ran to the Great Hall. As hungry as she was, she waited for Dumbledore to finish what he was going to say, before she even touch her food.

When he welcomed Cassidy MacDouglas, as he just said, Berii saw the girl next to her stand up. As the Cassidy sat down, Berii turned to her.

"Welcome to Hogwarts." she said, smiling.

Cassidy turned to look at the girl next to her, who had spoken a verbal welcome. Cassidy smiled, and offered a handshake, tossing her short blond hair away from her eyes.

"Thanks," she said, her Scotch accent think. She picked up her fork and chewed on some green vegetables thoughtfully, her deep blue eyes full of warmth. "I'm Cassidy, as you already know...what's your name?"

"I'm Berii Asakura." she said as she poured a drink on her goblet. Her smile seems to broadening more, she always did liked having a new friend or even someone to talk to.

She picked up her spoon and tasted the food on her plate. While doing all this, in her mind she was thinking of something to talk about, she did't want to bore Cassidy after all.

"It's nice to meet you, Berii," Cassidy said, enjoying thebanquet before them. Her pure white owl took off for the owlry, relieved that Cassidy had found someone to talk to.

Cassidy took a sip from her goblet, and admired the ceiling for a little while.

"You know, back in Japan, the ceiling wasn't quite as neat as this," she said thoughtfully, returning her eyes to her plate. "Except this one time, on New Years, they had a dragon flying about. It was pretty cool to see. It breathed fire and everything."

She chuckled, patting her full stomach.

"Oh, hey! What's your schedule like? Maybe we have some classes together?" Cassidy said hopefully.
