Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

As morning arrived, Berii got up and took out the clothes she was going to wear. After doing so, she ran to the bathroom and quickly took a shower. When she was finished, she got dressed and dried her hair with her towel.

Brushing her hair, she made her way to the common room. She glanced at the room and saw Cassidy sitting on a chair.

"Good morning, Cassidy." she said as she walked beside her.
 
"Hey, Berii," Cassidy said, her face lighting up right away. She glanced around the room as some students left for breakfast. "Where are you headed off to this morning?"
 
"I'm starving....mind if I join you?" Cassidy asked Berii politely. "Afterwards, I'm off to Herbology. Know anyone who has it the same time I do?"

Cassidy climbed out from behind the portrait of the Fat Lady with her books clutched tight to her. She looked bat at Berii hopefully as she too climbed out into the hallway.
 
Berii followed Cassidy outside. "Sorry, I don't know anyone in the same time as you..." she said apologetically. Berii walked to the edge of the staircase and waited for Cassidy to follow. "But I'm sure you'll meet nice students there." she said, the tone of her voicee changing back to it's orinigal sound.
 
"You better not go after those boys!" I told Terra. "Because they'd go after you and I'd have to go after them!"
 
OOC: 7 pages! Wow! I'm impressed! haha I'd be willing to read the pages if there was only 3 but 7! There must have been several plots that have gone by since I was last here. So can some one just sum it up in a nut shell? If not that just tell me what's going on right now.
 
OOC: Well Soraya (sp?) hurt itself (I think). Karli hurt her back when the S Boys released a Bludger, Terra and I could hardly get any sleep. Not much. And we won the Quidditch match with some BRILLIANT playing by me! No biggy.
And you thought this went fast. At the beginning of the year, in the first thread, THERE WERE 9 PAGES MORE IN 2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!
 
OOC: Actually I expected more, I was afraid that there was only going to be 2 more pages. But I am very impressed that you kept it at a steadily fast pace. Brovo!

Now what happened now? Any storyline or what? If not how many days have past? A week? A month? what?
 
OOC: Not many I don't think... Ask LPG or Scarlet
 
OOC: Um, Raichu Master, only about a day has gone by. And also, a good RP doesn't go at the fast pace you want it to, they take their time, don't rush them. Ya'll do a lot of powerplaying, which is kind of unfair to those who can't get on as much as you guy, such as Blaine and myself sometimes. All in all, just let it take its time, if a day goes by and it takes 5 pages to do so, let it, it makes for a longer, more detailed, and a more fun RP, rather than making a few days go by in 2 pages. I probably didn't make any sense, but oh well.

"Oh, it's alright. Don't worry about it. I'm sure I'll get on fine," Cassidy assured Berii, as they headed towards the Great Hall.

Cassidy sat down with a plate of pancakes and some sausage. She grinned over at Berii and dug in. After a few moments, Cassidy looked down at her watch, and gasped.

"Aw, I gotta go! I'm gonna be late!" she exclaimed, leaping up from her chair. "I'll see you later Berii! Thanks for eating breakfast with me!"

With that, Cassidy disappeared like a bolt of lightning as she sprinted out of the Great Hall.
 
I looked at Batesy.
"She is not going after those boys. And guys if you would like to know, they would just go after me. I dont want any more injuries, I miss to many of my classes!" I said, remembering last term.
 
Cassidy dashed down the hall, past students, ghosts and moving portraits alike. She was panting, but there was no way she was going to be late for her first class.

She burst out of a set of doors, sprinting onto the grass, inhaling the sweet scent of vegitation. Something foul struck her nose. It was coming from the forest, a place she knew was forbidden to students. She grimaced at the reeking smell, wondering what on earth could have made such a gross smell. She figured it was perhaps a bog. She hoped it wasn't something...dead...

The greenhouse was just ahead, and Cassidy made for it like there was no tomorrow. She reached the doors, threw them open, and realized she was the only person there. She checked her watch. On time...so where was everyone?

Cassidy whipped out her schedule, and slapped her forehead hard. She had misread the time, and was half an hour early!

Cassidy took a seat on a stool next to some strange, squirming plants, and waited for the others to arrive.
 
"Thank you... For putting up with me, Zeth," whispered the girl.

Her eyes lifted to view the enchanted ceiling above her. For several moments, Liadan immensed herself in the beauty, slow breaths elicited from her lungs. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. She had to remind her nervous system. Shouldering her satchel once more, the adolescent sighed.

"Are you ready to head to class?" she inquired, her voice still soft.
 
I began to make my way to the Great Hall. When I arrived there, and parked myself at the Gryffindor Table. Madam Pomfrey was going to put a spell on me, to make my back better by two days or more. But it would still help. I began to eat my pancakes. I was lookign for the new girl, I hadnt really gotten a chance to introduce myself.
"Where is she? Classes dont start for a half an hour..." I thought still looking around.
 
OOC: I'll try to keep that in mind Dragontrainer for future use. I just get bored sometimes and try to hurry the rp along so we get to the good parts. But I know better, it's just really boring. So I'll try and suppress my boredom.

IC: The next day my sorrow didn't go away. No matter how hard I tryed, it still followed me anywhere I went. I went to the commonroom and sat at the fire trying to forget Karlis outburst and trying to rashionalize that it was just a misundersatanding.
 
I soon gave up looking for the new girl, and went into thought about Johann. I still thoguth very little of him. I soon just changed my subject. I was now thinking about the new spell we had learned in Transfiguration, just a few days ago.
 
Devon and Will found me and Will said with a big grin, "Hey let's grab some breakfast!"

Devon looked at me thoughtfully and said, "Your still upset about Karli aren't you?" I nodded and she continued, "Maybe some breakfast will do you some good. I mean you really need some food you look starved."

She was right I looked at my stomache and heard it growling. I gave a faint smile and got up. She smiled at my attempt to atleast feel better. Will walked in head of us. She asked getting worried about my deep depression, "Is there anything that would make you feel better?"

I nodded. "I would love to forget all about Karli, she hates my guts and that's all there is to it. So there is no reason to remember her and what happen." I admitted as we entered the Great Hall for breakfast.

She looked down and then said, "Is there anything else?"

"Yes. Not only do I want to forget her existence I want to be free of anything involving her!" I said loudly. I didn't care. Everyone should know how I feel. "I'm officially open for the taking. Whoever can make me forget about Karli can have me." I said as all the girls looked at me with hungary eyes.

But Devon was the first to speak out. "May I be the first to try?" She asked innocently.

I was shocked by what she asked, I had no idea that she felt that way about me. I just smiled softly and said, "You could give it a try." She giggled and took a bite out of her food.
 
I lifted my head to listen to Johann's announcment. I shook my head disgusted, and I quickly pushed myself out of the Great Hall out into the corridor.
