Misadventures in Hogwarts

"I...Just can't tell you..." I opened my eyes at the sound of wings."This is Feather Duster Terra." "So, this is Feather Duster, huh?" I asked and gently patted Feather's neck.

"You're cute Feather.Okay, Karli, now, I want you to meet...Drift!" I caled, making sure was voice was loud.A flutter of wings...and Drift came, swooping down.She landed on my shoulder, and hooted softly.It was then I noticed she had a piece of parchment tied to her leg.I stroked her head. "Karli, Feather, this is Drift." I said as I carefully untied the scroll.Free of the scroll, Drift hooted at Karli's owl, probally trying to have a conversation.My eyes grew wide when I read the note."Listen to this, Karli:
Miss Lanes,
Due to several circumstances but a day ago, you will be summoned to Dumbledore's office, tommorow at noon in the middle of your last class.An urgent meeting is required.

Proffesor Minerva McGonagall.Oh my gosh...I wonder why..." I said, after reading the note aloud.
 
Berii was walking around the corridors. "Anna..." she called out, her voice trembling. "Anna...where are you?" she asked herself. She was about to go back when she heard a sound coming from behind her. "Anna!" she said. Berii walked over to her little friend and looked at her with a worried look. She took Anna carefully and walked to the Gryffindor common room. She took a bandage from her bag and wrapped it around Anna. "Sorry Anna, It's all my fault. I shouldn't have let you look for it alone." Berii whispered. After putting the bandages, Berii went out with Anna, looking for Terra and Karli.

"Oh my gosh...I wonder why..."

Terra..." Berii thought, walking towards her.

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking worried.
 
"Wow..." I answered stroking Drift. "Do you think its a good thing or a bad thing? Awww.....Drift is so friendly. Look how she acts around Feather", I said smiling.
 
I shrugged, then I smiled at the scene before me.The two owls were really getting along.Just then, I heard a voice...."Berii! Oh...I...I got this..." I thrust the parchment at Berii."I don't know what it's about."
 
"Hello Berii... we are trying to figure out what this letter is about. Oh hello Anna", I said getting up to stroke her.
 
"Oh, so you have an owl too!" I grinned at Berii.But then, my face clouded over quickly."Yeah, we are trying too figure out what it's about."
 
"I wouldnt worry about it Terra. Maybe he just wants to talk to you about your magic. You havent done anything wrong", I trying to reassure her. "Think nothing of it", I said patting her back.
Then two Slytherin boys came up to us.
"Hey Terra hanging out with your Gryffindor friends?" he said in a irratating voice.
I stood up.
"Its none of your buisness in who she hangs out with, now get lost before I make you eat slugs!" I yelled at them.
"Ooooohhh we are so scared" they replied.
"Come on guys their not worth it" I said walking away.
 
I crossed my arms and flicked my slightly curly long brown hair back.
 
"Don't mind them, I'm sure they're just jealous because they can't make any friends in other houses." Berii said, trying to cheer up Terra and Karli. "And about the note, maybe Karli's right. C'mon now guys cheer up!"
 
"Maybe your right Berii. No, you are. They are jealous."
"Shut your little accent up you witch", the boys said.
I walked over to them and stepped on their feet. I pointed my wand at them.
"Simera Toucher. Oh, whats that in your hair?" I asked them.
On each of their heads was 3 spiders.
"Leave us alone"
The boys put on faces like they were going to barf, and I grabbed Terra's hand, and pulled her away.
 
"I took care of them already Terra, let it go", I said still dragging her awya and taking her wand from her. "No violence is needed".
 
Berii smiled. "Karli! where did you learn those cool spells?" Berii asked, looking at the boys. "Can you teach me those?" she asked, practically jumping. Then she looked at Anna who she was carrying. Her smile faded as she caress Anna's wings lightly.
 
I smiled. "Well Simera Toucher is very simple. You only have to wave your wand slightly and say the words", seating Terra down on a bench.
 
Berii sat beside Terra. "Okay, I'll try it later, but I was wondering...why are they afraid of spiders?" she asked. She stopped caressing Anna and picked up a spider walking beside her foot. "Spiders are cool!" she exlaimed, staring at the spider.
 
"Well, would you want 3 giant spiders on your head?" I asked laughing.
"Now Terra are you OK now? We still have half the day to fill and then tommorow is Sunday and we have to figure out what to do then. I have a essay to write, but that is all."
