    Hello,
I'm new to the site and am trying to get info on some 1999 base set cards.
Is there any bonus to having misprint cards. I have a few gree energy cards that the border is moved to one side.
    Do they have any value?
    Thanks
    Bruce

Welcome to the Pokecommunity Bruce! I will point you over to our Pokemon TCG section since that's the best place to ask a question like this. It would be best as well if you had pictures attached so users can see for themselves what you're trying to ask about.

If you have any concerns, feel free to hit me up or any other staff members you encounter in the site, and we'd be glad to help out :)

I'm actually gonna go ahead and scoot this thread over to TCG manually. Maybe I can help ya. :)

Okay, let's break this down! Misprints in the original Base Set are valuable to certain collectors.. but there is a confirmed list of what we know to be misprinted cards baring very specific examples. Unfortunately, misalignment (unless VERY exaggerated and even then they're difficult to authenticate) is something that actually reduces the value of a card rather than increase it. Though, a picture of your Energy card would be useful!

You can check out a list here to see if you have any error matches.
