3rd Gen Missingno Glitch glitch?

    Once while walking in the grassy areas near fortree, i found myself seeing Shoal cave, I thought it was the Scorched Slab but when i went in it i was in shoal cave. When i tried to talk with the old man, i went into a battle with an upside down Brawly that had a lv.2 missingno. After winning (easily) I went outside and my game glitched. anyone else had this experience or some other form with the shoal cave?
     
    Have you used any sort of cheeting device? They can glitch up your game. By the way, did the missingno look like three question marks, cause I've seen a picture of one on Ruby/Sapphire.
     
    Hmm weird i've heard of that before though someone used a cheat device and it completly sent his game wacko maybe thats what happened to you matey
     
    hmmmm.. Did you cse a cheating device? I've seen pokemon look like a question mark on FR/LG but not on R/S/E sorry

    Anyway, that is weird...
     
    Anyone got a picture?? Never seen missingno in RSE
     
    The missingno on FireRed looks like when you haven't seen a pokemon in the pokedex on Ruby(Question mark in black circle) and it's called ????? . The one on R/S/E looks like 2, not three as I said earlier, question marks. I would show you the pics I found but I don't know how.
     
    Missingno stands for missing no. which means missing number. You probably used a cheat device which created a battle but it was against the programming and there was no existing variable. Try simply undoing all your cheats. In Ruby/Saphire he asked me to collect shoal shells.
     
    I might as well tell you where I found the pics. Do an images search for 'Missingno' on google.co.uk
     
    That is what you incounter when you enter an incorrect code. I've encountered it before and caught it just cause, but it never messed up my game. If you are using codes i suggest you wait until you've completely finished that way you don't have to start all over again unless you want to.
     
    isn't a fake. use the walk in walls code and go to the grass without pokemon. u're pokemon will be missing n? with 0 hp
