I am so sick and tired of all you pokeshipping bashers saying that Ash & Misty arent meant for each other when they are..... sure the animators havent given Ash any romantic interests as he is focusing on becoming a Pokemon Master at this point of time

I like Misty as she kicks butt both in pokemon battling and when it comes to controlling Ash & Brock when they act like idiots

Well if you feel that strongly about it, feel free to post in the Shipping debate thread.. I'm sure there are people who would love to discuss and debate pokeshipping with you..

anyway... I've stated my opinion on both characters before, but I'm going to repeat myself.. I don't mind either.. there are some things relating to Misty which used to annoy me, but these things are trivial, so I'll spre you all the grim details...

Just curious...but...how can YOU actually say that. The writers can do whatever the hell they want right? So that means they can bring her back if they choose to....Unless you get secret messages from the Pokemon Headquarters about the future of Pokemon and the writers plans to take over the world using subliminal messages in games and cartoons??
 
Gee, I dunno? Perhaps because when she left the Gym for a while, it turned out to be packed with people wanting to battle her and caused a HUGE wait for people? Her sisters aren't interested in running the Gym anymore. We saw how many people they had to tend to and keep waiting for her to return. She ain't coming back, especially when she's a completely different person now than she was back then. ~~

I'm sick and tired of all you Pokeshippers saying Ash and Misty were meant for each other when they aren't.

Don't give me that bull****. The writers can do whatever they want right? So just because YOU think they are meant for each other doens't make it so. Hypocrite.

I'm not saying you can't have an opinion about it, but you act like you're automatically right. <.<

This, though I have to say something. If Kasumi's a different person, wouldn't that be reason enough to bring her back in the group? To further her character? Sure it'll be different, but considering that Kasumi's/Misty's character sorta disappeared after season one, I think it'd be a good change to re-introduce them.

And I have to, again, explain my view on Pok?shipping. I'm a big fan when it comes to this. However, from the looks of things, and from other's opinion's on this community, their relationship together seems to be a fantasy to many. Hey, I try my best to support it, but I know when I'm beat.
 
What I meant by that was that she's no longer got much of a character now like she did back in Kanto. Whenever she's around she's just...there. o_o;
 
Still i believe it was you that said the writers can do whatever the hell they want.....and they can. But how do you know that Mistys sisters wont come look after the Gym...what if we meet Mistys parents? maybe theyl take over the Gym...it happend with Brock...his mom came outta no where. You can only predict that Misty wont come back you cannot say indeffinatly that Misty is not coming back....because if she wasnt then she would have been phased out of the show like Tod..Rhichie..and all the other characters who sh met and said hed see again soon....and he didnt. The writers kept her with her own little mini-stories about what shes doing now.
But seriously how can you ay that Misty is DEFINETLY not returning to the show?
 
How do I know? Why would they run it all of a sudden when they've shown no interest in it for all the years the two series' have been airing? It appears Kasumi has no parents, seeing as her sisters are the only relatives she has. And what do you mean she "came out of nowhere?" Takeshi's mom was STILL alive and had all possibilities of coming back, especially when she was MENTIONED.

She WAS phased out of the show. o_O How many friggen times has she been in Advanced Generation since Satoshi left for Houen? She had limited appearances like other characters.

She's definately not because she's now the Gym Leader and doesn't want to give that up. If she did, she would have given the title back to her sisters when they came back. Her sisters have no interest in running a Gym. They never have since we saw them. There's PLENTY of evidence that she's not coming back for full time. ~~

...precisly my point....there is EVIDENCE to SUGGEST that she wont come back....but we DONT KNOW...we didnt know Brocks mom was going to return...like we didnt know Misty was gonna leave and May was joining the group...So NONE of us can say "this IS gonna happen" because we dont know until it does...
My point is that we can predict that she wont return....but we cant say she deffinatly isnt...because simply we dont know.

I agree with you on the fact that I THINK Misty won't be coming back Full-time, but there's still a YET somewhere in the gaps.

May, obviously. Sorry, Misty, but May has curves in all the right places. Sure you're leggy, but that bandana on her is just...wow. O_o ;P
 
I would like to appolagise for my argumentative approach to the forums over the last week or so...but im just getting over the death of a family dog who's a big part of the family...he had a slipped disc and died of old age...so this is why ive been a bit rash and snappy.

Characters aren't just all "curves." May can also fight and is strong.

But...

Is it just me, or is Kasumi/Misty the only character from the original series to guest-appear recently? (of course, I haven't seen the latest Japanese season nor have I seen Chronicles.) From what I heard, Misty's made two three-episode appearences. From the looks of things, the producers can't let go of Kasumi/Misty. In that case, Kasumi/Misty can come back to be a part of the group. Or, the case that would make me sad, Kasumi/Misty would keep on making frequent guest appearences. (at least once a season)

I'm a very hopeful kid. I won't ever believe that Kasumi\Misty won't come back until the producers actually state that themselves. Until then, why can't I fantasize about the future?
 
HAZUKI must come back. X| He was probably the only interesting rival during Pocket Monsters' run. Plus since the group's now in Kanto, he should make an appearance. ;\

I actually agree with you! Hazuki should come back, maybe during the Battle Frontier period. But I still think Richie was the best, Tetsuya never interested me but Masamune is pretty cool.
The only main character they could bring back is Tracey... But nobody really cares about him. <.<

IIRC, weren't people like you back at Serebii saying that Kenji could never come on to the show again because he had found his dream at Ookido-hakase's. (yes, Japanese names, but just cuz I'm in the mood.
 
I liked Harrison... He was a cool guy. He did say he was heading to Kanto so... Hope he's still here.
