And if it is a lie, so what, Misty is not that special of a character.

So, will Misty ever return to the show? His answer was a flat out no - not as a main character, anyway. If she is to ever return to the show, it will only be in a minor role as something like as a rival for a tournament, similar to May returning for a few Diamond and Pearl episodes. But no, "Kasumi-san" would never return as a main character again, unfortunately. I heard him mention "Pokemon Contests" in his response to my question, but the translator did not tell me what he meant.

That image is a schfmuck-fake. If you zoom in on Togetic you will see those annoying low quality squares that you see on youtube videos when your internet is not coming well. If you inspect the Shaymin, that is not the case. There is also slight green shading, even though the other Pokemon are fully Sophia. There are other quality differences proving this is not a direct scan.

This image is a fabrication due to difference in quality. You Misty fans got April Phooled. Keep dreaming and Good Night.

Yah, Misty could come back but I think this is a fake.
There's no official links.
There's plenty of pro's out there who knows Jappaness, can fix it the way they want to, to play pranks on people like us.
Its how it works. Like I said, its happened tons of times in the past.

Masamitsu Hidaka may have said this, but he's not the director of the show anymore, so his word is not set in stone. As far as I'm concerned, the closest to true confirmation is if someone of a high-level working on the show (such as the Director) states this. Even then, it's not 100% confirmation as the Director can change his mind. Need I really remind you guys that Hidaka, when he was the director, was dead set on removing Brock from the show permanently (he even admitted that he was dead set on it), and yet the only reason he ended up bringing Brock back was because the American Fanbase didn't care about his looks?

Besides, I don't trust anyone who has absolutely no knowledge of a new game coming out despite being blatently advertised through Pokemon Sunday, CoroCoro, and even Movie 11 itself.

Well, Misty's not appearing, let's close this. Writers, prepare for your show's demise...
 
Misty doesn't need to return. She's too popular.

Professor Ivy needs to make a return instead. Brock would approve of this.

No he wouldn't. He gets that weird depression cloud around him whenever she's mentioned.

Anyway, Misty making an appearance would be cool, seeing as May has already met Dawn

People employed in the Pokemon franchise probably have some of the safest jobs in the world. There is no way that an anime with, at worst, decent ratings after 10+ years of airing, along with a series of movies still making box office records in Japan and a insanely popular series of games are going to have a "demise" of any part of the franchise.

Ok. It was fake. Because Misty is not making appearance till Sinnoh ends. Because she is going to be main character in next saga. (My little speculation).

Guess, we can assume these Misty titles is fake.
I wonder if this Dawn episode will be like that Misty princess episode in Kanto?
You know, the one where Misty and all the girls were treated like princess for the day?
It'd be cool if they did another episode like that with Dawn though.
Course than I know Misty fans would complaine about her being a copy cat right >>
Aaahh what the heck, I know some Misty fans will call Dawn a Misty clone do to her getting this Togekiss, so screw it I want another episode like that.
