    Hi,

    Does enyone know what pokemon Mitsuhiro Arita drew first?
    And is he the artist behing the old topsun series?

    No idea which specific Base Set cards he illustrated first, only that he has artist credit for several of the Base Set cards. He's illustrated 565 cards in total, though, per the number of pages linked in this list on Bulbapedia of cards he's illustrated: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Illus._by_Mitsuhiro_Arita

    As for the Topsun cards, they appear to be using official Ken Sugimori artwork?
