Modifying Stadium 2 team for NetBattle...

Okay, after receiving the newest version of NetBattle, and getting creamed...how should I go about modifying my star Stadium 2 team?

I'd like to use these Pokemon:

Persian
Dewgong
Ninetales
Pikachu
Pidgeot
Kadabra

Persian: Double Edge/Shadow Ball/Hypnosis/Fake Out
Dewgong: Ice Beam/Surf/Encore/Substitute or HP Electric
Ninetales: Will-O-Wisp/Confuse Ray/Fire Blast or Flamethrower/Quick Attack or Substitute
Raichu: Substitute/Focus Punch/Thunderbolt/HP Ice or Thunder Wave
Pidgeot: Quick Attack/Return/Aerial Ace or HP Flying/Shadow Ball
Alakazam: Psychic/HP Water/Calm Mind/Recover

A couple of those I just made up then, and the others are just altered versions of standards.

If Stadium 2 means the one that isn't compatible with Ruby/Sapphire/Fire Red/Leaf Greens moves and stuff, like, the one stuck at GSC, then I'm sorry, as I have no idea as to that.

Any ideas for EVs and items? That would help too.

I've built a version with Serebii's suggestions...and fixing to see how it fares...

UPDATE: Scrapped that team and am building one with your move ideas and Serebii's item/EV suggestions

Okay, I created them in Netbattle, and I altered some of the sets.

Persian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Shadow Ball
- Fake Out
- Hypnosis

This could work out well, Fake Out, then Hypnosis, he needs Double-Edge for damage, and Shadow Ball is for ghosts.

Dewgong (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 60 HP / 60 Def / 252 SAtk / 136 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Encore
- Surf
- Substitute

I don't know how well this will work seriously, he can pack a punch with Surf, Ice Beam is to wipe out Dragons, Encore is to perhaps catch a stat-upper or something off guard and allow you to set up Sub, Encore might help you get Zam in for some free Calm Minds too :P

Ninetales (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 68 HP / 96 Def / 116 Spd / 88 SAtk / 140 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Fire Blast
- Grudge
- Confuse Ray

Okay here, you basically just mess with the opponents head, WoW is to burn, reduce power, and HP, Confuse Ray is to further annoy them, Fire Blast is for the extra power, since Flamethrower won't pack a big enough hit, and Grudge is for when you are about to die :P

Raichu (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Static
EVs: 108 HP / 176 Atk / 96 SAtk / 128 SDef
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Punch

Kinda your usual Subpuncher.

Pidgeot (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 52 HP / 228 Atk / 228 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Quick Attack
- Aerial Ace/Hidden Power [Flying]
- Hidden Power [Ghost]/[Steel]

I don't like this fella, he can't do much.. He can kill Subrevvers with Quick Attack, he can also get STAB from Return and Aerial Ace/HP Flying, consider HP Steel to wipe out Rock Pokemon :P

Alakazam (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Recover
- Psychic

I can see this working, Calm Mind, then if you are hurt to much, Recover, he will usually go first, and you can Calm Mind when you can, and otherwise Recover, eventually, you will have a few Calm Minds and can then bust out with Psychics for most stuff, and HP Water for things that resist.
Some people prefer HP Fire, but I like Water as you can cover Tyranitar, Houndoom, and other things that resist.

Looks alright to me, the EV's may look specific but hey, if you can outrun something why not do it :P

I'm going to use your move ideas and Serebii's item/EV suggestions and see how that fares before I try your EVs

no offense but, Serebii isn't the best at helping people out with non-factual/ opinion based information

Okay crap, I accidently had Thunder Wave over Focus Punch on Raichu in my edited one.

It's changed now.

Lion heart and I tested this and realized you need:

~A ghost
~something to take a hit

and the rest of your team still needs to be tested as most of it was OHKO'ed

Yeah most of it died in one hit to Aerodactyl's Double-Edge.

Not cool.

It needs Gengar or something in there, maybe over Pidgeot since that was the most useless pokemon in the team that I noticed.

Okay, I'm going to bring in a Gengar plus "evolving" Trista to Alakazam this time.

:P Good idea.

Go with McIceGar (Sub/Focus Punch/TBolt/Ice Punch) then you can safely counter the same Aero you are avoiding :P
