Secrets? No there is no secrets to all this. But some how people that talk to me a lot gets Modded O_o. It's not that I bring their name up or anything but they just do (Soph, Scotty, Tommy, Brandon, Nick, Austin, DT and a few little chats with some of the other Mods before they was Mods). XD

Of course, I had gone through the mod interview and all that a couple mnonths before, but I still didn't think I would be modded. XD

A mod can:
A) Lock threads
B) Edit posts
C) Edit topic titles
D) Add notes to a topic
E) Go into the lounge (Which is full of OT)
F) See the T-Dome before it's open (:P That's how it was)

And that's about it. Nothing special, really. Oh, and of course the "Moderator" under their title. :P

I think in honor of the elections this year, we should vote a member of PC to be a Mod! I won't run, but its a good idea! I nominate Daegon Kimeron.

Or we could have someone running for Admin as it is the presidential (sp?) elections. XD

Their should be a new class(or group watever its called)

PRESIDENT! I am so smart. Power is less than a S-Mod, but with a font of an Admin(or Praetor/????? for that matter). Just purple, or some other color!
 
Or no power what-so-ever, just the title. That's an idea. XD

So the president will get a special name coloring, a little title, and access to the lounge. XD

I think we discussed doing that for mods at one point in time... but we scrapped it quickly because people would only vote for themselves or for the most popular people. And just because someone is popular doesn't mean they're mature enough or able to do the job properly. @_@

It would only be a font change ,lol.

Plus, this is only once every couple years, then that person gets de-presidented, and a new president rises!
 
XD;; Ah... okay. *missed the post before hers and wasn't clear on the issue* :o

Lol, that would be kind of funny. X3 But... I dunno about the access to the Mod Lounge. =\ Sometimes we do actually talk about important things in there and the reason it's hidden is so members can't see it. So just giving any random member access and then stripping it away later on might not be the best idea. x_x; *hates being so negative on ideas all the time when she comes up with the downsides* XD;
 
It's not just a random member! It is a member chosen by the people!

Heres an Idea... Every mod/s-mod/praetor/????/admin nominates one person. Then PC decides from the list.

Wow, I am getting more serious about this every time I post about it! XD
 
Or maybe you could have people nominate themselves? Make a thread in OC, get a bunch of nominations, then make a primary to decide the final canidates, then they could go around trying to get people to vote for 'em. XD

And Erica, if a member got voted into "office", they would have to be rather well liked around the board, so it wouldn't be a complete newbie. And it's not like we're giving them access to the AdminCP. XD

Why not do a AI type thing? Have members nominate other members then the one's with the most on to top 10? I've been watching to much tv lol.
