9-Returned back to Cerulian and took out Misty

11-Went back to Route 4 and picked up Sandshrew almost forgot to do that before moving to Vermillion

I've completed Pokémon Red on my White challenge. I started Gold as well, but VBA kept freezing everytime I tried to play. So for now, I'll just have to play DS games and hold off on GB/GBA games until I've got a new computer or something...

Anyway, my team only consisted of 2 Pokémon - Monarch the Butterfree and Marina the Dewgong, since those are the only white Pokémon in Gen 1.

Update on Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Brown).

I finally started the Unova leg of my Brown ultimate!

Update #1 on Black 2.

Name: Brown

Starter: Oshawott

• First thing I did was set the game to Challenge Mode, then picked Oshawott as my starter.
• After getting Pokeballs, I caught a Patrat on Route 19 as a filler for the first gym.
• Patrat is decent with STAB Tackle and was able to barely defeat Cheren.
• Went to Virbank City and caught my first real team member, Firebeast the Growlithe.
• After beat all the trainers there, I took on the gym.
• Roxie was tough, but Firebeast survived to earn me my second badge.
• After the Pokestar Studios and defeating Team Plasma, I caught a ride to Castelia City.
• Headed straight for the Sewers and defeated TP there with Hugh, then caught Piledriver the Timburr in Relic Passage.
• Trained up in the Sewers and Battle Co., and Piledriver evolved into Gurdurr!
• The gym was up next. Burgh was pretty easy thanks to Piledriver's Rock Throw and Firebeast's type advantage.
• Moved on to Route 4, where I defeated Colress, then found the Mandibuzz that spawns on Thursday.
• Caught it with a Timer Ball and named her Vulture.
• Beat everyone I could find on Route 4 and the Desert Resort, then arrived in Nimbasa City.
• After some more training on Route 16, I rode the roller coaster then went to the gym.
• Elesa wasn't too hard with Vulture, Firebeast, and Gurdurr all combining to wear her down.
• Moved on to Driftveil City, then on to Route 6, where I got the Deerling with Serene Grace from the Scientist.
• Took on the gym, and Clay went down easily to Deerling's Energy Ball and Piledriver's Brick Break.
• Soon afterwards, Deerling evolved into Sawsbuck!
• Realized I forgot to name Sawsbuck, so I took him to the Name Rater and named him Bucky.
• Entered the PTW and won the Driftveil Tournament, then defeated TP on the Plasma Frigate.
• Went back to Route 6 and got Surf from Cheren, which I taught to Oshawott for now.
• Went surfing in the Lostlorn Forest and caught my fifth team member, Jetsie the Buizel.
• Taught her Surf and boxed Oshawott, and I am now saved on Route 6.

Ultimate Red Monocolor Challenge SoulSilver Update #1

-Started up, blahblahblah, caught Eddie the Ledyba on Route 30. He's gonna be our bro for the first 2 gyms at least. He's a nice guy.
-Took care of Sprout Tower and got Eddie up to Lv.15 so he learned Reflect and Light Screen
-After a couple of attempts that I needed to be super strategic with (Supersonics and Light Screens and such) Eddie took Falkner down
-Got through Union Cave, skipping most of their trainers and their rock pokemon, and then went on to Slowpoke Well, in which Eddie evolved into a Ledian.
-Bugsy proved to be little issue, just needed on Super Potion and an Antidote to get through it.

Update on Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Brown).

Update #2 on Black 2.

• Went through the Chargestone Cave, evolving Jetsie along the way.
• Arrived in Mistralton City, then headed straight for the Celestial Tower to catch my final team member, Gemini the Elgyem.
• After beating all the trainers there, I challenged the gym and defeated Skyla.
• Got a plane ride to Lentimas Town, where I taught Dark Pulse to Vulture, then went through Reverse Mountain with Bianca.
• Made my way through Undella Town and Lacunosa Town to Opelucid City and Route 9, and the rest of my team evolved: Piledriver into Conkeldurr (hacked for levelup evo), Gemini into Beheeyem, and a Fire Stone on Firebeast at L45 gave me Arcanine!
• Continuing on, I did some EV training, then took on the gym.
• Drayden wasn't hard at all - Gemini and Piledriver handled him with ease.
• Saved after the Plasma freeze.

Ultimate Red Monocolor Challenge SoulSilver Update #2


-In the interest of full disclosure, I used Steve to help beat my rival's Gastly. Eddie had no moves with which to hit it
-Went through Ilex Forest, skipped all the trainers I could, ran right through Goldenrod, and went immediately to National Park
-Started up a Bug Catching Contest to catch the first permanent member of the team, Umberto the Scyther (we won :D ). Taugt her the TM for U-Turn right away.
-Umberto turned out to be a total beast once I trained her up. With Technician, her Wing Attacks end up being something around 135 base power with STAB.
-Umberto took out Whitney single-handedly without taking a single hit, one shotting both Clefairy and Miltank (the latter with a lucky crit) (Lost the screen for this :( )
-Killed Sudowoodo, got to Ecruteak, and went straight to Burned Tower
-After a bit of searching, we got the next member of the team, Stannis the Magmar
-Went west from Ecruteak, leveling up Stannis on the trainers along the way
-Got to Olivine, got the Good Rod, caught a couple Krabbys (one for surf use later)
-Traded one of the Krabbys to a guy in town for a temporary member of the team, Billy the Voltorb
-Went back to Ecruteak where the whole team got their hands dirty on the Morty fight (Lost this screen as well)

Final Update (#3) on Black 2.

• Defeated Team Plasma in Opelucid City, then went to Humilau City after beating Hugh.
• Beat some trainers around the city, then took on the gym.
• Marlon was crushed by Bucky's Horn Leech.
• Went through Seaside Cave to infiltrate the Plasma Frigate.
• After navigating all the warp panels, I beat Zinzolin again, but the Frigate escaped to the Giant Chasm.
• Made my way over there as well and started another beatdown.
• Eventually I fought my way to the top, and defeated Colress.
• Ghetsis appeared and went into the cave, and I followed.
• Ghetsis was a decent opponent, but was no match for my team.
• After a nice cutscene, I defeated Black Kyurem as well.
• Continued on to Victory Road, which was long and hard, with Hugh waiting at the end of it.
• Beat him even with a weakened team (lol), and I was through to the Pokemon League!
• Got everyone to L60 and finalized their movesets, then took on the Elite Four.
• Shauntal was up first, and he went down to Jetsie and Vulture.
• Grimsley was crushed by Piledriver.
• Caitlin was taken out by Bucky, Firebeast, and Gemini.
• And Marshall was defeated by Bucky, Gemini, and Jetsie.

Update on Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Update #1 on Emerald.

Name: Pink
Starter: Treeko

• Did the first part of the game with Treeko, then caught Plushie the Whismur on Route 116.
• After training him up, I beat Roxanne with a bunch of Howls and Uproar.
• Moved on to Dewford Town and got Plushie to L25, when he learned Stomp. Defeated Brawly easily with +1 Stomp OHKOs.
• Continued on through Slateport City to Mauville, where I faced off against Wattson.
• He was difficult, but Supersonic finally worked out and Plushie escaped the gym intact.
• Went up through Fallarbor Town and down Meteor Falls, picked up the Strength HM, then climbed Mt. Chimney to defeat Maxie.
• Hopped down to Lavaridge Town and beat Flannery after a couple tries thanks to Overheat.
• Beat some more trainers, then went back to the Petalburg Gym to fight my dad, Norman.
• Mopped the floor with him after some Howls and Hyper Voice.
• Got Surf and taught it to a Marill I caught in the grass, then caught LaffyTaffy the Jigglypuff on Route 115.
• Used her exclusively while making my way to Route 116, and after she learnrf Body Slam, a Moon Stone evolved her into Wigglytuff!
• Defeated Team Aqua at the Weather Institute, then caught Nessie the Feebas after a relatively short search.
• Skipped past Fortree City for now and made my way to Lilycove City, and Nessie evolved into Milotic (hacked to evolve at L20)!
• Taught her Ice Beam and Surf and defeated Bredan for the final time, then trained some more along the water routes.
• Then we went back to Fortree and took on the gym. Nessie was able to beat her pretty easily.
• I am saved in Lilycove City right now.

Update on Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Final Update (#2) on Emerald.

• From Lilycove City, I went to Mt. Pyre, where I got the Magma Emblem.
• Chased after Team Magma in Mt. Chimney and defeated Maxie easily with Nessie.
• Went after Team Aqua in Lilycove as well, then crossed the sea to Mossdeep City.
• Defeated Tate and Liza at the gym pretty easily, then foiled Team Magma at the Space Center.
• Got the Dive HM, and used it to catch Pacific the Clamperl.
• Found the Scanner in the Abandoned Ship and exchanged it for a DeepSeaScale.
• Traded Pacific via VBA Link, and she evolved into Gorebyss!
• Infiltrated the Underwater Cave where Team Aqua was and eventually beat Archie with Pacific.
• Went to Sootopolis, then down to Sky Pillar to find Rayquaza, who calmed Kyogre and Groundon.
• Then I took on the final gym and defeated Juan with Plushie and Pacific.
• Surfed to Victory Road and on to the Pokemon League, defeating Wally along the way.
• Got everyone to L58-59 and finalized movesets, then took on the Elite Four.
• Sidney was taken down by Plushie and LaffyTaffy.
• Phoebe was defeated by Plushie and Nessie.
• Everyone but Pacific contributed to beat Glacia.
• Drake was handled mostly by Pacific.
• Finally it was time for the Champion, Wallace. The video I took got corrupted, so I only have a play-by-play this time :(.

-Bought the TM for Focus Blast to teach to Stannis because I think that was the plan at one point
-Took a slight detour to Lake of Rage to catch the next (obvious) team member, Pyke the Red Gyarados
-Trained up in the Lighthouse, then started heading south on the water, on which Billy evolved into an Electrode
-Went down to Cianwood where Umberto again swept the gym leader without taking a hit
-Went back to Olivine to give Jasmine some medicine and then beat her up with a team effort from everyone
-Helped out Lance at That One Place
-Another team effort took out Pryce relatively easily
-Dealt with the things at the Radio Tower
