Can I be a sub if there is a drop out?

My Predictions
Match ups Round 1
Leingodf8 vs Griffinbane = I hear leingod is good, and griffinbane is good too, so i have no clue, but a guess would be Lein

Miz vs Arcanist = I've never battled against miz, and he picked black,(Which by looking at the list seems like a poor choice, No offence), So i'm going to go with me for the time being lol

Valen vs Pascal = I hear valen is an amazing battler, and judging by his videos, those claims weren't made in vain

Shinyninetales vs ThomasCallaghan= I battled against Tom earlier, when he was using his Yellow team, and since i dont want to ruin any surprises he has in store for SNT, idk lol, but over my evaluation against his team, it was a pretty easy win for me, so i'm going to have to go with SNT. BUT, that may be just my team, which is okay ^_^
Anyways, Both of them should have a fun battle, and I reckon thomas will change his team around, so this will be unpredictable.

Tori vs Kamui = I'm pretty certain that we will see either a salamence, metagross, or Gyarados in this match, since both picked blue, which is a pretty scary colour. I chose Kamui because I know he's after a certain pokemon, and will probably make an epic team. (Thank god it's without Sweater lol)

Roshi vs SCV = This Decision is pretty mixed, so i cant give a verdict. Roshi boasts a couple of wins against PokeRangerPhoenix, and he's a pretty good battler. SCV, is also a pretty epic battler, and YELLOW is a formidable color. Both of these guys deserve to win, so I cant pass judgement based on someone liking DragonBall or not (If it was based to that ROSHI FTW lolol)

Greene1516 vs Painter = Quoting Greene, "Every trainer has a bane, and no matter how good you are, you cant beat him. Mine is Painter...." YES I WATCH HIS VIDEOS K

D&S vs Sacredmikey = Mikey has been on a roll these days, and he pretty much pwned H&S league a while back, beating 3 gym leaders in one day, which is a decent achievement. I havent heard of D&S, so im going with mikey ^_^

CrimsonStorm vs Chains = I've heard the name before somewhere, and it had something to do with a Rhyperior, and a scary blissey i might add. Nuff said lol


Those are my predictions, Love em, Hate em, whatever lol

D&S vs. SacredMikey- FWI he got the steel badge cause he beat my sub...not me. Besides, one can't assume the new dude is terrible
Me vs. Roshi- A) My color is not white (= B) Phoenix may be good but he is not unbeatable...

xD i got Valen I gues this is going to go terribly wrong.
 
I'm gonna go blue simply because I want to stand a chance in this thing as it seems all of the top competitors have chosen blue and blue is known to be the strongest colour in mono-colour, so I guess I'm gonna try fight fire with fire.

No they haven't, hate to break it to you but I can count and there are only four on the OP.

BTW Valen two things; is shiny allowance a rules in this, i.e. for example can a shiny Vaporeon be on a purple team? And two, you do realize that for a tournament to break down the number of participants has to be divisible or a multiple of four, i.e. 22 breaks down to 11, 18 breaks down to 9, both those numbers were suggested by you. After 16, 32 is the next plausible number.
