Mono-Color Tournament

okay blue is taken guys sorry lol and im gonna add like 2 more people to the tournament since a lot have signed up

Sorry greene, i read that and didnt count

No they haven't, hate to break it to you but I can count and there are only four on the OP.

BTW Valen two things; is shiny allowance a rules in this, i.e. for example can a shiny Vaporeon be on a purple team? And two, you do realize that for a tournament to break down the number of participants has to be divisible or a multiple of four, i.e. 22 breaks down to 11, 18 breaks down to 9, both those numbers were suggested by you. After 16, 32 is the next plausible number.

I Pmed him about the shiny allowance and he said yes, e.g a Shiny Dodrio would be counted as green

8.Shiny Pokemon that are the color your
using can be used as well.

My Predictions

CrimsonStorm vs Chains = I've heard the name before somewhere, and it had something to do with a Rhyperior, and a scary blissey i might add. Nuff said lol
Hahaha we'll see about that one ^_^
I'm gonna go blue simply because I want to stand a chance in this thing as it seems all of the top competitors have chosen blue and blue is known to be the strongest colour in mono-colour, so I guess I'm gonna try fight fire with fire.

I would think so, is says so in the rules.... This is good lol gives me a few more options XD

Prediction time much.

leingod Vs Griffinbane: Leingod is uber, enough said.
Miz Vs Arcanist: haven't heard of any of their battling abilities so can't judge.
Valen Vs Pascal: from what i've heard Valen is good and I've never heard of Pascal so going to go with Valen.
Shinyninetales Vs ThomasCallaghan: don't like to predict my own battles.
Tori Vs Kamui: Kamui is good (except for that time he used garchomp against me:o)
The Roshi Vs Scv: I hear they are both good so can't really decide.
Painter Vs Greene1516: They are pretty much equally matched but greene is going to be my gut feeling.
D&S Vs Sacredmikey: going to say mikey he has appeared to be good.
Crimsonstorm Vs Chains: I know that crimson is good from experience but I hear that Chains is really good but haven't seen his ability first-hand so going to go with crimson for now.

>.> umm well wat u guys think should i just go up to 32 or keep it at 20 now?

Keep it at 20 >.> 32 would make the wait too long lol. Maybe in the next tourney. And i hear people's exams are coming up soon so people wont have time to fit in their battles

You could do that. If you don't get enough people in the end, you could let a bunch of people have byes. If you do that, then too bad for the unlucky people in the first round but it will even out in the second round and later.

Why am I always the underdog? Against Lein no less. >_<
:P

Arcanist, the point is that it has to be either 16 or 32 we lose half the battlers in each round and we're gonna end up getting a weird thingymajig if it's in between the "magic numbers."

Basically, like with 20 we end up with 10, and then 5. You could do it this way and make a record of the wins in round two so whichever out of the 5 got the closest win is doesn't get through, leaving you with 4.

il give whoever won their battle bigger say i won 6-0 or something i would get the bye from the 5 people

that sounds fair
i am filling the space so i can post

Because im just that awesome ^^

Besides, being an underdog is better because if you lose then nobody really cares but if you win then everyone thinks your amazing

Sorry, but can I change my color to Black?

Im lacking in white Pokemon by the looks of my PC xD

updated some more check out the deadlines have fun and get your battles done!

THat won't work 'cause if you give one a bi and then the other four battle you will end up with three. When you are working with odd numbers you always have to drop some somewhere.

i could just give a bye again after that unless u got some other ideas

nah its not good to give byes that far into the tournament

Byes in the beginning of the tourney seems best. Also, maybe keep signups open until like 4 days before deadline? It'll get stragglers in here and would help us with our mathematical problem.

I need to breed one more pokemon (and attempt to claim an HG/SS pokemon >.>) and I'll be ready team-wise. It'll be a while before I'm actually ready though, got a bunch of EVing to do.
