Can Johto pokemon be obtained after National Dex only? I thought Hoenn pokes can be found after it and Johto before.. And what about Tyranitar?
EDIT: Tyranitar is Johto too.. I'll do Flying and Water both...... It would be an ultimate challenge and I will do it on different games like Flying on FR and Water on LG.

-Took care of Oak's parcel business
-Caught a Level 2 Rattata on Route 1
-Level Trained Rattata on Route 1; level 2 → level 6
-Stored Squirtle in PC for good
-Caught a level 3 Pidgey
-Obtained Teachy TV
-Battled all trainers in Viridian Forest
-Retraced my steps to Viridian City to battle Booboo. I won!
-Reached Pewter City
-After a painstaking battle with Pewter Gym's Camper Liam, I won thanks to my trusty Pidgey

-Went to the grass patch by Indigo Plateau to catch a Spearow
-Caught a level 3 Spearow, then trained it to level 10

Update 01
-Began my journey of this great world. Player named "Slave" and rival named "Chicken".
-Got Potion from my PC and went to see Oak.
-Chose Bulbasaur till I can get my hands on a Mankey. >o
-Was defeated by Chicken because I didn't use my Potion. -woe-
-Got a Potion from the Route 1 guy. What a creep. Handing out drugs to little kids. ¬.¬
-Did that parcel stuff. Got a nice, shiny PokeDex.
-Went to Gary's place andhit on got a Town Map from his sister.
-Ran back to Viridian, healed Bulbasaur and went to Indigo Plateau and encountered a Mankey straight away!
-Caught Mankey, hurrah! Named him Piggy.
-Healed everybody, went down to Route 1 and did some serious Piggy-training. (Lv. 4 → Lv. 8)
-Deposited Bulbasaur in the PC, though might get him back out as a HM slave one day...
-Some Old Man showed me how to catch a Pokémon (did he not notice that I had a Pokémon other than my starter?) and gave me a TV. That was nice.
-Ah, Route 2...no different in appearance to Route 1...the beauty of it all...did some more peanut butter training time with Piggy. (Lv. 8 → Lv. 10)
-Viridian Forest. Hrmpf. Killed everyone with ease, aside from a bit of poison, but got to that Antidote just in time. (Lv. 10 → Lv. 12)
-Went back to Viridian to battle Chicken in a heated showdown...and I was amazed at how easy it was. OHKO'd Pidgey with a critical Karate Chop, and two following Karate Chops killed Charmander. o_O; (Lv. 12 → Lv. 13)
-Saved in Viridian Forest.

-Got Potion from my PC and went to see Oak.
-Chose Bulbasaur till I can get my hands on a Mankey. >o
-Was defeated by Chicken because I didn't use my Potion. -woe-
-Got a Potion from the Route 1 guy. What a creep. Handing out drugs to little kids. ¬.¬
-Did that parcel stuff. Got a nice, shiny PokeDex.
-Went to Gary's place and
-Ran back to Viridian, healed Bulbasaur and went to Indigo Plateau and encountered a Mankey straight away!
-Caught Mankey, hurrah! Named him Piggy.
-Healed everybody, went down to Route 1 and did some serious Piggy-training. (Lv. 4 → Lv. 8)
-Deposited Bulbasaur in the PC, though might get him back out as a HM slave one day...
-Some Old Man showed me how to catch a Pokémon (did he not notice that I had a Pokémon other than my starter?) and gave me a TV. That was nice.
-Ah, Route 2...no different in appearance to Route 1...the beauty of it all...did some more peanut butter training time with Piggy. (Lv. 8 → Lv. 10)
-Viridian Forest. Hrmpf. Killed everyone with ease, aside from a bit of poison, but got to that Antidote just in time. (Lv. 10 → Lv. 12)
-Went back to Viridian to battle Chicken in a heated showdown...and I was amazed at how easy it was. OHKO'd Pidgey with a critical Karate Chop, and two following Karate Chops killed Charmander. o_O; (Lv. 12 → Lv. 13)
-Saved in Viridian Forest.
