UPDATE: ok havent posted in awhile so here i go. After finishing off bugsy which was quite difficult thanks to u- turn, had to sacrifice my carvanha and murkrow because u turn is DEADLY but larvitar pulled through. so then i helped that aprentice and catched his farech ds and got hm cut! caught a rattata for a hm slave and tought i t cut to get through ilex forest. Beat all trainers along the way to goldenrod city got the radio card and finally versed whitney! CLEFAIRY was a joke one rock slide anhilated and i was only 1 level over it then came miltank took some stalling using sandstorm and rough skin( carvanha) to damage it along with murkrow then let larvitar finish off the sweep. And ya thats my 3rd badge!!! Now i went to the flower store and got me a squirt bottle thas all for now. I will post my team later and does anyone know how points u need in pokethalon to get a dusk stone? and what day u get it at? i have like 3000pts right so i want to evolve my murkrow.

Wait, there was a Bike Shop in Goldenrod?

-Saw Lance, and followed him.
-Continued through the Rocket Base, with Rocket Grunts telling me what to do so I can defeat more Rocket Grunt. Dummkopfs.
-Met up with Lance and found out that Petrel can deactivate these radio signals that are making the Gyarados STFURAAAEEEG.
-Wait, how does Lance go to places without being challenged by Rocket Grunts? Oh wait, his Pokemon were already beaten up.
-The female Rocket Grunt gave me one password. SLOWPOKETAIL.
-Another Rocket Grunt told me the other password. RATICATETAIL. What's with the fascination with tails?
-Saw and talked with Naoya. He told me about getting his @ss kicked by Lance. Heh. Maggot.
-Wait, that's Giova- NO. He doesn't talk like him. He's in a disguise! It's...

-Scarface happily 1HKO'd his Zubat with Wing Attack.
-Garmr 2HKO'd his Koffing with Bite.
-Gojira 1HKO'd his Raticate with Rock Slide.

Hmph, what a joke. Petrel's a pretty cool guy, though.

That radio transmission are controlled by balls. Electrode.

-Garmr, Gojira and Scarface managed to 1HKO the Electrode with their strongest neutral-effective attacks.

-Going in the Gym now.

-Fightin' Pryce!

-Scarface 2HKO'd Seel with Wing Attack, but not without going down to yellow health. Damn Ice moves.
-Gojira got KO'd by a single Aurora Beam from Dewgong. Damn!
-Garmr killed Dewgong by 4HKOing him while he was resting. He could Sleep Talk, but his attack weren't powerful enough to hit me for more than 21 health.
-Garmr got 2 Embers Piloswine, but got knocked out by Mud Bomb.
-Scarface, don't fail me now!
-A Crit Wing Attack KO'd Mamoswine! Yay!

Update: Ok, I whipped through Sprout Tower, leveling up BruceLEE and JackieCHAN up to lvl 11 along the way. I then easily defeated Falkner's lackeys, and, being overconfident and overzealous, got beatdown by Falkner spamming sand-attack :(
After grinding on awful Mareep's and the like, I got sick of it and took on Falkner once again. Surprisingly, I dominated him. (Sidenote: STAB'd Brick Break on a Tyrogue with an amazing attack stat: crushing! (Egg move))

It's not my solo run, I don't have the mood to start it yet. :D
Besides, Mawile's rather weak, that's why sometimes it's hard. (Especially HGSS which I really dare not try but well..)

I'm soon to be getting an Eevee, am I allowed to trade to my Platinum game in order to evolve it into Leafeon or not?

Well, I´m not EJ but i asked him the same question via PM, so i can answer with yes, you´re allowed to evolve Eevee on DPPt

I got through union cave, cleared out slowpoke well and beat Bugsy. I also beat my rival. Now I am in Ilex forest to get the farfetch'd. Then on to beat Whitney.

s-Left town so I can get my damn bike form Goldenrod. Nobody told me there was a Bike Shop there.
-Got my bike. Time to shake some Apricorns.
-Noticed that Raikou and Entei are registered in my map card. They're moving?
-This guy who sold me a RAGEEEECandyBar won't let me through. Time to explore.
-Off to Olivine!
-Arrived at Olivine City.
-Saw Silver and he told me about a sick Pokemon. He pushed me out of his way. I was on a bike, too. I wonder if there's a time in HG/SS where Silver can kick you while riding the bike...
-Got a Good Rod!
-It seems I need to Surf to get to Cianwood. Surfing is like being in a cave, but instead of fat hikers, you get swimmers and speedos. And female ones, too. :3. I still hate Surfing, though.
-Decided to go back to the Pokeathlon Dome so I can evolve Scarface. This will take a while...
-Finally got 3000P. Changed the date so I can get the Dusk Stone and evolved Scarface..
-Surfin' to Cianwood!
-Found the... Whirl Islands. Now where did I put that Flash TM... Oh wait, none of my Pokemon can learn Flash.
-Too dark, didn't explore.
-Arrived at Cianwood, and received Shuckie. I'll put him in my team beacause Shuckles are awesome and I want them to be in my team photos.
-Saw... Suicune?
-Wild Eusine appeared! He talked about how majestic Suicune is. Yeah, he's good for tanking stuff.

Um... Uhh... Nice... outfit. PHAHAHAHAHA
-Eusine switched out Drowzee and sent out Electrode. A Thunder failed to 1HKO Scarface and he proceeded to 2HKO Electrode with Assurance.
-Garmr 2HKO'd Haunter with Crit Bite.
-Gojira 1HKO'd Drowzee with Bite.

Never. Ever. EVER. Again. It took me an hour to grind Unown to Level 25 -.- Slowpoke just couldn't get enough power to take out Scyther without leveling up tremendously, and I need to evolve him into Slowking before level 29. XD And my victory was purely luck, even at level 25, Scyther can one shot Unown. XD It came down to luck with Scyther using Focus Energy then Quick Attack.

Anyway, here's my new update:

Unown has been boxed, probably the last you'll see of him, unless I choose to grind him for Claire, XD

Haha, yeah, I decided to ditch Tangrowth and use Leafeon instead. I'll have to find some other Rock/Electric/Ice move for flying types *hint hint Ludi,Loom,Turne,Masnow* :P Anyway, thanks for answering my question :) Didn't want to break rules whatnot O.o

Ecruteak Gym Battle! Aero vs Morty!
Yes, another update on the Grass Monotype challenge!

First things first

-Got through National Park
-Cleared Route 36 with ease and got to the dancing tree.
-Which turned out to be a Sudowoodo. HOLY ****.
-It, being a Rock Type, died to Fairie's Bullet Seeds. Mwa ha ha!
-Cleared Route 37 with difficulty. Double battles are hard :(
-I managed to evolve my Fairie into, yes, a freakin' Jumpluff! :)
-Arrived at the stunning city of Ecruteak city. I like this city above the other's in Johto. I don't know why, I just do. Maybe because of the name?
-I found the designer of my beautiful PC boxes, Bill!
-He exclaimed I should meet him in Goldenrod, so I obliged.
-It turns out he wanted to give me an Eevee!
-I refused. Every single one. Until a rather Jolly fellow was offered to me, whom I accepted as my own. I shall call him Fennex, a cross over between what his evolved form, Leafeon, looks like, a Fennec fox. There is your trivia for the day.
-I decided to go back to Ecruteak, and get the party started from the left to right, then move my body and dance all night at the Kimono theatre!
-Of course...a Rocket Grunt is already stealing the show. Time to bust my moves!
-Naturally, I win. I'm in beast mode.
-I got HM03! But have no water Pokemon so...it's a waste. xD
-Levelling Fennex is hard. But going to be worth it! I hope.
-Went to the burned tower, and saw the Legendary Pokémon!
-Also I met a Suicune obsessed maniac.
-Also, I met Morty, who was chilling amongst Koffing.
-Taught Dig to Fennex.
-Caught a Koffing for future purposes :) Not for this Monotype challenge, for competitive.
-I also saw my rival, who gave me a battle. Jumpluff easily took care of Zubat and Quillava, Fennex walled Gastly and got a x4 hit on Magnemite. Easy peasy lemon squeasy.
-Cleared the trainers in the Burnt Tower with some difficulty.
-Released the Legendary Pokemon and was brought in for questioning by Eusine. Help me!
-Left burnt tower, assured Morty was waiting for me at the Ecruteak Gym.

I'm going to edit this post when I have defeated Morty, as well as update with latest team and badges.

Oh my gosh.. This took forever as I kept losing to Bugsy over and over/my pokemon had no moves that could hit the goddamn rivals Gastly! So I trained in Union Cave until level 31 O.o Yes, really. So that my Hitmonchan could learn.. The Elemental Punches :D I then proceeded to kick the crap out of both my rival and Bugsy and helped the Farfecht'd kid so I am on the way to Whitney!

I hate when gym leaders spam Sand-Attack. I didn't really find it a problem until I played Fire-Red for my solo run. The rival's Pidgeot just spams Sand Attack every time <_<

I'm dreading Claire. XD Unlike Bug type, Dragons resist Psychic ._. Why does Jynx have to come AFTER Claire? XD
