Haha tbh I never used Weather moves in my teams, but I'm planning to start in my next playthrough (which is sadly not monotype, I've decided, or could you guys recommend me a fun type to play?)

Dragon would be less challenging imo, it should be fun nonetheless.

Fighting is a bit boring as there are very little special fighting types.. Let me think about Dark. (I can't play till 14th anyway.. ><)

Emoxy,Ghost is really hard at the beginning. No normal-type damaging moves,so You can't get the first badge till Curse,lol! Then it gets easier,but still only way to compete with Dark-types is getting Gengar and some fighting-type move on it. If You can't trade You've got a problem.

@storm eater: Coming from you, I expect some more details on your updates from now on. Like your pokemon, moveset, nature, ability, the side-missions you're doing, how the gym battles went down, etc.

AND, I want some sort of proof that you're actually doing this.

Brock was a cakewalk. Haunter just kept using Shadow Ball on everything but Omastar and Kabutops. They tasted Thunderbolt,not so bad too. I am leveling my Misdreavus on level 50,get Power Gem and then evolve it.

WOW. Both female Dusclops and Shuppet have Adamant Nature. I am really happy because they both got benefit from that nature. Now I just need to get second place in the Bug Catching contest! After that,I'll need to grind ~2500 Pokeathlon points more to get Dusk Stone and Heart Scale (I won't get BP for every move I need... I'll only get X-scissor and Toxic,getting Energy Ball and other moves is just... @_@)

btw, does anyone know a trick to finding doduo? cuz it's starting to tick me off... I USED 210 WATTS AND DIDN'T FIND IT!!!!! with 5000+ steps and an effective type pokemon (flying). i want it......

Alright I'm back again with my final update of the Johto League at the halfway point of the challenge

Grass Challenge Update 6

• Started at Mahogany Town gym where after struggling for almost an hour against the ice type trainers I made it to Pryce
• Lost to Pryce four times in a row and decided to leave and do some extra training
• Vs Pryce! After the previous training session, I returned to the gym for my fifth rematch against Pryce. Meganium easily knocks out Seel but is then defeated by Piloswine in a close battle. I then send out my Leafeon who OHKO's Piloswine but is eventually KO'd by Dewgong. With Dewgong having the Speed advantage over my remaining team, Weepinbell and Bellossom fall to Pryce's Dewgong which leaves me with only Exeggutor. Exeggutor manages to survive 2 Ice Shard attacks and defeats Dewgong with SolarBeam and I earn my 7th badge!
• After defeating Pryce I get a call from Prof. Elm that Team Rocket may be up to no good in Goldenrod City So I decide to check it out
• I get to Goldenrod City, clear out Team Rocket and defeat their leading Executive, Archer
• Now that Team Rocket is once again disbanded, I head back west onto Route 44 where I start to search for my final team member
• After searching for about 5 mins. I ran into Tangela, but this Tangela was not a regular Tangela but a shiny one!
• I capture Tangela and train it until it learns Ancient Power
• Tangela evolves into Tangrowth!
• Weepinbell evolves into Victreebell!
• I then make my way through the Ice Path and into Blackthorn City where I head straight to the gym
• Vs Clair! The final gym of Johto actually turned out easier than I thought it would be. Tangrowth defeats Clair's Gyarados, and 2 Dragonairs before finaly being KO'd by Kingdra. Eventually, Kingdra is defeated by Meganium and after taking the Dragon Den challenge I earned my Rising Badge!
• I battle the Kimono girls who then lead me to Lugia who I then captured!
• Now that the main Johto quest is over, it's time to head to the Pokemon League!
• I cleared out Route 26 and 27 and met up with my Rival in Victory Road. I defeat my Rival and his Typhlosion and head into the Pokemon League Gate
• Currently preparing the the Pokemon League!

Woah, never thought about that. I can't trade (emulator), hmm.. Maybe some egg moves will help (and I have to hack to get that too.. I don't want to hahaha)

I believe Shadow Ball would kill the 2 fossils too lol. Trade a Dusk Stone over from DPPt? I think it's easier to get from there.

I still remember when I used to let my Aggron learn Surf/Thunderbolt/Dragon Claw.. Looks like Dragon Claw is actually useful to some extent since Gen4. XD

Haha give yourself a break, that's what I'm doing now, there are other things that you can do besides indulging yourself in pokemon fever ;D

New396, how's Leafeon? I thought of using it in my last few DPPt playthroughs, but seeing as it only learns Leaf Blade at a VERY PAINFUL Level 78, and that it doesn't have a lot of move coverage (am I right?), I chose not to use it.

-Sprout tower. easy peasy, but i had to lose once because Kangaskhan ran out of PP for comet punch (no bite yet)
-got flash tm from ANOTHER old guy. How many old people are in this game?
-Kanga learned Bite!
-Falkner with only Atila (what i plan to name Kanga). completely owned. Atila was faster than Pidgeotto :D
-i got a Doduo! going to name TriBeak later
-down the route, beating weak people, training Doduo.
-In union cave. beating people. Got TM39 Rock Tomb! taught to Atila.
-Damn these Rocket failures. they do NOTHING. literally.
-beat them down with two overpowered pokemon.
-oh bugsy... too easy.
-Rival?!?!!? oh snap!!! jk, too easy. reflect kind of sucked, though.
-currently helping out this pokefailure. cannot control his own damn pokemon... why doesn't he DO HIS JOB?!?!?!?
