So i continued my journey made my way to Olivine City
Got myself a good Rod
Went all the way back to New Bark Town
Fished for what seemed like an eternity
Caught a shellder and nicknamed it Spike
and then a tentacool and nicknamed it stingray
then went back to route 38 and trained for at least 15 hours (felt like it at least) (im sick so i had no work so i played all day)
Finally decided it was time to fight Morty and it was easy
participated at the pokedome till i got enough points for a water stone

Okay, so I purchased SoulSilver just yesterday, and I began what was to become a very long endeavor, for yesterday, I have begun my first (and certainly not the last) Monotype challenge. I'm unable to produce screenshots, as I'm not playing an emulated version, so instead I'll be narrating through this. :3

FIRST UPDATE- JULY 2nd/July 3rd

As I departed from my house in New Bark Town, I headed directly to Professor Elm's laboratory where I obtained my first Pokémon- a healthy and oh, so adorable Totodile which I nicknamed Chomper. I had to admit, I was a little sad that I wouldn't really be using the cute little guy all that much, but since he had a Docile nature I quickly shrugged it off and began my journey.

I completed all the tutorial nonsense and fought my jerk of a rival (who I named Silver as I always do- Silver's just a badass name) and ventured off towards Violet City. On the way there, I caught a little Sentret who I named Watcher. I checked my Pokéwalker, and from that neat little gadget I obtained a Kangaskhan and a Pidgey. I endured Joey's pestering phone calls about his Rattata and ventured into Dark Cave, where I was hell-bent on finding myself a Dunsparce. By the time I finally found one, Watcher critted the thing and I lost my chance.

Finally making it to Violet City, I pushed through the Sages inside the Sprout Tower and got the Flash TM, then got the "make-'em-faint" Rock Smash HM from the man outside of the city. (Boy, if only that phrase about Rock Smash was true.) Seeing as how my Kangaskhan was at a much higher level than the rest of my team (and I was feeling overconfident at the time) I stormed my way into the Violet City Gym, tearing through both of the Bird Keepers that stood in my way. Falkner, on the other hand, was much tougher than I expected. His Pidgeotto tore through my other 3 Pokémon without even batting a feather, so it was up to Kangaskhan to save the day. And save the day she did, earning me a Zephyr Badge and the Roost TM.

I got a call from Professor Elm asking me to hold a suspicious egg given to me. I figured, "Why not? I've already gotten the team I need, so I can hold onto a spare passenger. The egg stays with me!", and I took the little egg under my wing. I also decided to head back into Dark Cave to test out that Rock Smash HM I taught Kangaskhan. Sure enough, what was hiding under the rock I smashed proved to be the best thing out of this adventure yet- a Dunsparce!

Got the Soul Badge! Hm... I always thought the Marsh Badge would be more fitting for this gym, and the Soul Badge for Sabrina's gym...

Strangely... Joey has only called thrice during this challenge...

OH CRAP. I noticed that I evolved Scarface BEFORE getting the National Dex. I didn't realize that there are no Dusk Stones before the E4 because I didn't check (I earned 3000P but didn't look at the the store).

Does this mean I have to start the challenge over? D:

While i was there i decided to go for a badge
Easily beat the gym trainers and Leader chuck
Surfed back to Olivine City gave the medicine to Amphy
Defeated Jasmine so very easily i mean easy
Made my way to Mahoganhy Town
Went up beat the Red Gyarados
Met Lance
Defeated Team rocket
Defeated the Electrodes
Healed my pokemon
Went through and defeated the Mahoganhy Gym trrainers and Leader Pryce
Able to use whirlpool so i taught it to my Quagsire
Went back to Cianwood City then went to Whirl Islands Caught my self a Seel
Trained it for like hours till it evolved and reached lv 38
Saved it and now am about to start playing

Long time since my last update on my Dark challenge, but there it is:
- Train a lot with the Elite Four to raise the level of my pokemon.
- Try to beat Red, but he probably have the Fastest Blastoise I have ever seen. I lost too many times.
- I did Battle Frontier to buy a Brightpowder to put oin Cacturne with is Sand Veil.
- I finally beat Red!!!
Summary of the battle:
1) Weavile against Pikachu
Weavile do Night Slash. It is a Critical hit!
Pikachu Faint
2) Red Sent out Charizard. I switch to Tyranitar
Charizard use Flare Blitz. It does almost nothing.
Tyranitar use Stone Edge. Charizrd Faint.
3) Red Sent out Blastoise. I switch to Cacturne. (Cacturne's Sand Veil + Sandstorm + Brightpowder)
Blastoise use Bilzzard and miss. Cacturne use Seed Bomb. Blastoise lose 1/3 of his HP.
Blastoise use Focus Blast and miss. Cacturne use Seed Bomb. Blastoise lost another 1/3 of his HP.
Blastoise use Blizzard and miss. Cacturne use Seed Bomb Blastoise Faint.
4) Red sent out Lapras. I switch to Tyranitar.
Tyranitar use Stone Edge. Lapras lost 3/4 of his HP. Lapras use Brine. Tyranitar faint.
I sent out Cacturne.
Lapras use Blizzard and miss. Cacturne use Seed Bomb. Lapras Faint.
5) Red Sent out Venusaur. I switch to Houndoom.
Houndoom use Flamethrower. Venusaur lost 3/5 of his HP. Venusaur use Sludge Bomb. Houndoom is poisoned. It left 8 HP to Houndoom at the end of the turn.
Houndoom use Flamethrower. Venusaur Faint. Houndoom is poison. Houndoom faint.
6) Red sent out Snorlax. I sent out Sharpedo.
Sharpedo use Water fall. Snorlax lost about 3/8 of his HP. Snorlax use Shadow Ball. Sharpedo lost 1/2 of his HP.
Sharpedo use Waterfall. Snorlax lost another 3/8 of his HP. Snorlax use Giga Impact. Sharpedo faint. Snorlax get recoil of Sharpedo rough Skin.
I sent out Cacturne.
Cacturne use Drain punch. It left about 5 HP to Snorlax. Snorlax must recharge. Sandstorm hit Snorlax and Snorlax Faint.
The player polkop beat Red and finish his Dark challenge :)

Flowers Journey Diary, Part V

Well...I left for Olivine to hand over the Secret Potion. Afterwards Yasmine had finally time to battle me. I taught Gideon how to use Dig and challenged Yasmine. The Magnemites were not worth mentioning and her Steelix was finished after 3 Digs. With my sixth badge I caught a pidget for fly-reasons and stored it in my box. I went to Mahogany only to see that another Gym is closed at the moment. somehow i get the feeling that i´m responsible for solving all of Jofto´s Problems...sigh...frustrated, i walked north to the Sea of Rage.
Whoa...A Red Gyarados...Argh..it´s no Grass-type, so i defeated it.
Suddenly this guy named Lance (while he spoke i got the felling he likes to hear his voice) stood at the Lakefront with a Dragonite. He wants my help dealing with Team Rocket...Again Johto´s Problem on my shoulder...Lance didn´t accept a no, so he kinda forced me, a kid to fight with criminals...great idol...
well...the Grunt were no problem, Cause Owen crushed through their Poison Pokemon...The battle with Lance on my side was also boring...But one thing confused me...How the F*** did he get a lv. 40 Dragonite...I guess Lance Is a cheater or he isn´t better than Team Rocket forcing his Pokemon to Evolution.
Anyway Pryce was my next Target and that Ice Gym was easier than expected...Somehow I thought Grass wasn´t evective against Ice but it´s normal damage. I just had to care for his attacks. Pryce is finished and I sense the next Problem of Johto coming towards me...
