More Symphonia Crap (including 30 Days of Symphonia)

So the past few days my mind has pretty much been on Tales of Symphonia, even though I haven't even played the game in the past few days (I've been tempted/wanting to, but whenever I got home my sister would be watching something on Netflix, what fun). I guess it would have to start with Tuesday, when I spent an hour or so talking about just Tales of Symphonia with someone at my college (the convo started with Pokemon, then it swerved to Symphonia, haha~) Since then I've been spazzing about an AMV, fanart, and making yet more themes. Luckily, I think I have finally found a theme that I will be sticking with for a while (especially now that it kind of became a twin theme), and that's this lovely Colette one right here. I just... love the coloring job that I did on it, and there isn't anything that irks me about it.

I'm hoping to play Tales of Symphonia today, and either meet Mithos on the playthrough with my sister, or get to the Tower of Salvation and beat up Remiel on the file I have for when I don't have my sister around (in which I completely restarted, and thus don't have all my titles or anything. I missed a few titles that I wanted to get because I forgot how to get them until it was too late, but as far as I know, it was actually only one so far.)

The point of this blog entry was actually to post the AMV I was speaking about earlier, because it's pretty much become my favorite AMV around (the 'This is Halloween' Soul Eater AMV is a nice second, but a lot of other ones are probably floating around the 'second place' spot tbh).


The song in which the lyrics/translation can be found here simply matches Tales of Symphonia as a whole, and the lyrics pretty much follow the AMV line by line. Such an amazing job was done, and I enjoy it every time I watch it, following the lyrics in one window and following the video in another. If you care and have the time, you should check it you and see just how much they fit together.

(For anyone who is actually going to bother watching it, you can stop watching it at 4:30ish. That's when the actual AMV stops and stuff for the fourth episode comes on.)

Well, that's all for my random rambling today, let's get to 30 Days of Symphonia (I think I'm the only one doing the 30 Days, even though it's more along the line of '30 Blogs' for me, haha).

30 Days of Symphonia - "Day 6" (Character who would probably be your Rival)

This was a hard question to answer. Not only am I not a competitive person, but I had a hard time choosing who would be my rival, and what for. For one, I wouldn't be anyone's rival over someone's love, because I'm one of those people who just loves pairing my favorite characters up with someone else of their canon, rather than my with. So with that said, several people were out of the question (mainly Colette, as I don't see any other reason why she would be my rival. Not like she would make a good one anyways).

Then there are the other potential rivals. Regal and Presea are out of the picture because they're both stronger than me, and Regal is a much better chef than me. Genis would own me at pretty much everything, and I just don't see a reason for Sheena, Zelos, Lloyd, or Kratos to be my rivals. There's Remiel, but him and the other two/three characters I dislike I think are too pathetic to be my rival. As for Mithos... well, I just wouldn't want him to be it, you know.

Now there's Raine. She'll completely own me with it comes to knowledge, but everyone who has played/read/watched/whatever Tales of Symphonia would know that she can't cook. I'm not the greatest cook in the world either, so if anything, Raine would be my cooking rival. Laundry (or housework in general) could probably be added to the list too, since according to Genis she can't do that either. :B

I'm talking about education smarts when I'm talking about knowledge, as well as general knowledge. Even if Raine lived in this world today, she would definitely know more than me. That's no trying to deny it, sorry. And why do you think I said 'Rival in housework', anyways? It's one of her weaknesses.

Didn't try mixing everything, adding lemon to everything (just look at what she adds to recipes) and if curiosity doesn't get the better of her. XD

However, there is one skit in which she somehow burnt stew, but kept half of it raw, so she's still generally not a great cook. XD;
