    Im not quite strong enough to beat Liza and Tate yet...any pointers as to where I can train at? My Absol, level 42, has 2 moves that are super effective against them, but that isnt enough...
     
    A Breloom, level 39; a Swampert that just evolved on the level its at; a Camerupt level 35; a Kecleon level 31; and a Swablu level 15. (I dont use the Kecleon or Swablu almost at all...I only have the Swablu so I can fly...Imma get me a better flyer later.)
     
    I always beat down all the trainers in gyms before I go for the leader. XD
     
    Tate and Liza are pushovers. they use n00b startegies, so counter with better ones. Follow me + focus punch breloom is an easy win. Or subpuncher, wehich you can get at this point. OR you can use something like walrein and dominate eith water and ice attacks...
     
    Train up ur Pokemon that arent weak against Psychic like Swampert and Camerupt up to Lv 40 then try

    On my emerald I had a Camerupt and I beat the gym no sweat, maybee cause all my Pokemon were Lv 50's ^^
     
    That is actually how I beat them a bit ago. lol, now im fighting Maxie and Tabitha with Steven.

    ...though I only won because I realized what their Solrock/Lunitone strategy was. Lunitone powered up defense, and Solrock was the only one that attacked. So I just beat down Solrock and id already won.

    For the record, the leaders don't use stratgey-not GOOD ones anyways. Just attack weaknesses, and all ingame battles are easy.
