Out of Yellow/Crystal/Emerald, which game do you think made the biggest leap in form of gameplay for their respected generations?

For me, I think it's Crystal! As a game, it brought many new features like playing as a female, chasing the legendary dogs ( and sub-plot with Suicine! ), animated battle sprites, and just the overall differences! :) As a girl gamer, it was amazing to play as a female so that sold it for me.

Crystal, without a doubt. It just has way too much different from the original G/S to be considered even the same game. In a good way! xD I loved the subplots and Legendary Dogs, so I think it's the biggest departure for sure.

Yup, I agree. Crystal. Choosing between being a girl/boy was a big one for me!
