Okay, if Pokemon were *cough* real, which ones do you think would be the most difficult to find and capture? This does not include Legendary Pokemon (with the exception of Pokemon like Arcanine and Dratini + evolutions, which can be found reproducing in the wild).

In terms of location and speed, I think creatures like Fearow and Rapidash would be very hard to catch, as they are very agile rough-terrain Pokemon who are found mostly in the mountains, and are fierce and inapproachable. Gyarados is another. Misty caught one under very special circumstances, but ordinarily, I doubt that it would be so easy.

Abra would be terribly hard to catch, unlike its virtual counterpart. Not only could in teleport away, it would evade being discovered in the first place, but like Ralts, it might actually seek out a kind-hearted trainer on its own.

If a Machop decided to be unfriendly, it too could prove a devastating opponent, possessing the power to hurl enormous rocks, trees, and even Pokemon and people!

...What do you think? BTW: the poll is just for fun. ;)

basically the ones you said.....umm a houndour, poochyena, and electrode ( for obvious reasons)

Sorry, Dude... the Poll wasn't up yet. :)

I think Kecleon and Abra probably would be the most hardest to catch, in the terms that they can teleport/blend with the scenery.

Though if ghost pokemon could disappear whenever they want like in the anime, they'll be challenging to catch too.

Yeah, it depends on whether the 'real world' follows game mechanics or Anime mechanics. I think people would get killed trying to catch the things. Ice Beam freezes you. You don't regain consciousness when thawed, you are dead. Your brain no longer works! So, Any Ice Type.

Also, I think it would be impossible to capture Magmar, or any Pokemon made of Lava; it would melt you if you tried to touch it. I don't care how 'trust' works in the show, fact is I don't wish to risk fingers to find out how much my Pokemon likes me.

Pikachu's pika-powered Electric Chair is great for a punishment, but I didn't do it!!! I'm innocent!! Pikachu and any Electric Pokemon would be difficult and risky.

Man, the list goes on and on...

Abra and Scyther. Abra obviously is on the list because of teleportation. Scyther... because it's fast and could knock the Pokeball away like lightning. Possibly Kecleon, and almost any flying Pokemon, since they could just fly away from the ball and into space. Well, not space, but somewhere similar XD

Now that you mention it, it would be almost impossible to catch a pokemon in the real world applying the game mechanics. Heck, even a weedle's poison sting can be dangerous and life-threatening!

If a pokemon were to use any of its attacks on a normal human...think about the results! Even attacks that don't normally damage such as screech or tail whip can harm a normal human.

Well, that just goes to show that anime characters can live through just about anything including being burned/electrocuted/frozen.

thats what we have pokemon for ..lol :)

I'd say gyarados because of its ferocity at sea, kecleon because of its invisibility, and dragonair due to there being so few in the world ^^

Any pokemon would be potentialy dangerous. The list is endless for us normal humans.

But then again you have to think about how humans get along with normal animals. Under odd circumstances any of our household pets, other than fish and tiny tiny animals, they could harm us too. But we have trust in them and vice cersa.

I guess that either way things are dangerous.

    Where's the invincible Kyogre? :o

Abra, because it's next to impossible to keep it from teleporting away.

Oh yeah, military factions people... Military factions... They would have them and we'd see wars that involved the Pokemon being used to fight them. So, we'd see huge armies clash using cute little animals that shoot fireballs and thunderbolts as weapons... Actually, that might be kind of funny in a way...

But yeah, it would be Gundam with Pokemon...

Yeah...pokemon would become our next line of military power. They pack quite a punch for being cute.

*Is now trying to envision a war fought with pokemon*

Back on the topic of challenging pokemon catches, I think jigglypuff might be a little difficult to catch since they could put pokemon and humans alike to sleep. Dunno, perhaps if you were to wear earmuffs or something.

I would definitely say that Mewtwo would be the hardest to catch! Not only is it supposedly the strongest Pokemon in the world, but there's only one, it's extremely intelligent, it doesn't like being around humans or real Pokemon, and you'd most likely have to catch it with a Master Ball. There are many Pokemon like Abra, Gyarados, etc., and only one Mewtwo, so I think it would be more difficult to catch. I can't really think of any other Pokemon that could whip its butt, lol.

I don't think it would even have to have seen you in order to teleport away; in the 'Dex it's noted as constantly using a variety of extrasensory powers, even while asleep, LoL.

Yeah, Kyogre and Mewtwo weren't on here for a reason, hehehehe...

Oh wait, I didn't realize that we had to choose from the poll, lol. Sorry!

    Anyway, out of those choices, I would say Kecleon. Even though it can't teleport like Abra, it can become invisible, and I've noticed that most of the time it stays that way. With Abra, it will only teleport if it senses danger, so you could probably catch it off-gaurd and capture it sometime. As for Kecleon, it seems to stay invisible most of the time, making it seem harder to catch, in my opinion. ^_^;
