4th Gen Most surprising opponent?

Sometimes when training my low-leveled Pokemon, Geodude/Graveler
comes along and, lo and behold, it explodes! Yay, suicidal boulders!

Well, I just recently did a Chinchou/Lanturn only run, and Blissey in the Victory Road, I wasnt expecting it, of course it was the only pokemon strong enuf in my team to take it down, as I only had HM Slaves, which sucked...
 
I was facing a Weezing with my Charizard and it used Thunderbolt and I was like "WTF??? Weezing can't use Thunderbolt!"
Luckily it didnt KO me, but it caught me off my guard.
 
Jupiter's Skuntank.
My god. I hated that thing. Smokescreen, smokescreen, smokescreen! Beat my Staravia, murdered my Grotle, and Kadabra was useless. Made me want to ram my head into a door.

You're not the only one. It took me about three attemps to knock the blasted biscuit out, and even then I barely managed to beat Jupiter.
 
Zac and Jen on the way to celestic town murdered my team,though 2 survived.also,my drifblim knew shock wave and still got KO'd by gyarados

Yeah it Sucks if u have a grotle cause it tears through it with the flamethrower i usually catch a burneary just for that battle
 
Whitney's Milktank in Silver/Crystal. THAT was one annoying gym leader. Not only that, if you forget to get your badge from her after she is done crying you'll have to back track. Either that or when it's time to go to the Elite 4 you will be scratching your head.
 
A lvl 1 ratada was at 1 hp vs a lvl 100 it used enverder then quick attack and killed me O_O
 
The hardest Pokemon I've fought was a shiny wild Absol that took about all of my Quick Attack attempts to kill it.

you can say that again.also morty's gengar and claire's kingdra.and all lance's pokemon. reminds me of the time a wild mantine killed my whole team.
 
Surprising opponent?
The first time I ever faced a Milotic (Ruby version). That thing would not go down.
What surprised me a lot was that I played around forty turns against Giratina with my lv 60 Staraptor before finally catching it with a Pokeball...
 
Torterra + Infernape = NO.

Really, Blast Burn makes it all that much worse. Isn't ground supposed to even out the fire/grass weakness? :P
 
Uhh, Jupiter's Skuntank at Spear Pillar. Apparently, my partner fails when he has Piplup as a starter. ;;
 
my worst moment,when one glalie scored 3 consecutive sheer cold's and knocked my 93 Lv. Gallade.
91 Lv. Empoleon and 90 Lv. Giratina....................................
 
I won every battle easy, becauze i trained my pokés in a high Lv and i traded some from pearl to Platin, so it was easier to win. (i traded them with Lv.1)
