Most underrated pokemon

Believe it or not, I think it's actaully Golem. I've never seen it been used but it does have some good potential. i used one is Fire Red and it did just fine in my game. I think it's just uncommon in competitive play though.
 
The Kanto humanoid types, Magmar, Jynx, Electabuzz, everyone is so evo happy, they kinda ignore these solid basic types.

My Jynx can kick so much rump, and my Magmar isn't too shabby either. Hee.
 
I probably have no clue what I'm talking about, but I think Sandslash is pretty underrated. I have one on my Crystal version. It has great attack power and speed, and it can take out most pokemon in one or two hits. I'm pleased with it :|
 
There are so many. I can't reallly say wich one is most underrated, but Sudoowoodo is way underrated. Sure its speed and SP.Defense suck, but it's great against physical attackers and can take down a standard Salamence any day. Also, like Dark Weezing said, Electabuzz, Jynx and Magmar. They all have a lot of potential due to decent movepools and stats. Jynx for example, has excellent qualities for a sweeper and the move Lovely kiss helps it beat pokemon with high defenses, such as Shuckle. And an Electabuzz with a good Hidden power and thunderbolt can do some serious damage. And Focus punch (for predictable switches) takes care of Tyranitars. It's basicaly the same thing with Magmar, but with Flamethrower instead of Thunderbolt. Also, Tentacruel is a decently strong pok?mon with HP, SP.Defense and Defense all above average. And it can learn Mirror coat, that makes it extremely useful against electric and psychic type pok?mon.
 
Manectrics are hardly ever used but they're very fast and some have static. Also I think Snorlax is underrated. It can learn most attacks like psychic, ice beam and surf. I had a lvl 67 one on Silver once and it owned.
 
Feebas.

I mean,come on.It be way underrated.The only reason most dudes try to catch that thingy ish cause they wanna Milotic.
Feebas,unlike Magikarp can learn TMs mind you.

You should see how my Feebas in Emerald kicks rear.^^

You should look at some competitive battles. Snorlax is way too over-used.

Imo, Gardevoir is pretty under-rated. Most people would probablly prefer to stick with Alakazam because of it's Spp.At+Speed, but Garde has more base HP and defenses than Alakazam, so it can survive more blows.

Plus, Gardevoir more sexy.
 
I'd have to say that I think that Fearow is too underrated. Most people I know completely hate Fearows, and never use them in any competitive battling. I quite like Fearows.

Just think of its butt-kicking move Drill Peck! I just love that move...
 
I agree with Weezing, Jynx, Magmar and Electabuzz are underrated. They are actually awesome Pokemon if you train them up properly, I'm pretty sure you can take on the Elite four with just those three XP

Anyway, back on-topic. I actually think the most undderated is Dunsparce. The only trainers I've ever seen with it are on the Sevii Islands, Colo, and XD. If at all, I've never seen it once in the Frontier. So basically, it's almost completely unnoticed by the players AND the programmers!

Save the Dunsparce! And the other underrated pokemon while you're at it.

I'd have to say Luvdisc or Unown.
Luvdisc may be used by some Trainers, but I have never seen a Trainer using an Unown besides me and XD opponents on Quick Battle.
 
Let's see, I'd say of the fossils, I'll say Kanto, I'd think Omastar is one that should be used more. Everyone is more on Kabutops and Aerodacytl and their strike hard and fast statset, not to mention their looks. Omastar can take abuse with both stats and play on the Special stats, which is harder to evade for its opponents.

Anything else, Alter Ego will jump in and wait until he say about Cradily. Hehehe.
 
I think alot of psychic types are overlooked in favour of Gardevoir and Alakazam: ie; Grumpig, Chimecho, Girafarig, Xatu, Jynx, Mr.Mime, ect. Shame, because these guys are some of my favourite pokemon.
 
Dunsparce... the thing is so adorable... but its never used for anything.
