Mother's Day?

Actually, Dakota. I bet moms have to sign some sort of contract saying they'll love any sort of craft that their child makes for them. XD Nothing else would explain why year after year mothers always say, "Oh honey, that's beautiful!" when you bring them home a paper plate with glue and construction paper or something all over it. XD;;

*really sucks at crafts* o_O;
 
Lightning: Not only mums think that way, fathers do too! (in my case ^^;; )
I remembered that my mum once picked up some kind of artwork that I discarded in the rubbish bin (due to it's crapiness) and commented that it was nice. I think she kept it after that. It's unusual, since she doesn't like me to read Manga books and draw characters in that style =P
 
I really luv meh mum and I try not to forget mother's day. ^^ I'll go to kroger and buy her roses (her favorite).

I believe Mother's day is the day to remember how much most of our moms suffered so much to give us so much ;-; Sure, my mum makes me mad. We fight, and a couple of dishes get broken, but its all cool then ^^;

It's already been Mother's Day in the UK... and I got her this broch. It was made of some sort of blue gemstone and she wears it all the time :D. Strange how different countries have completely different dates for the same holiday...

Kind of hard to forget about it here. Since we live with my grandparents, my mom ordered this huge bouquet of flowers I?ve known were coming for a long time. Plus we went and had dinner (albeit at a Mexican place, since that?s what they like) yesterday in honor of it.

And?. I still can?t figure out what to get her, cause if she wants it she already has it on order. ._.;

I may send her an e-card thing to not seem totally lazy? >.>;; Or take care of the puppy for her tomorrow. o.o;
 
I also forgot about Monther's Day, I should've remembered it's in the same month as my birthday. Thank you for the reminder, now I just gotta go find the right gift, I never seem to find anything too good. Let's see....... awh I need more time to figure this out, and I only have 1 day. XD
 
mother's day's tomorrow, and i have an unreasonably killer project due in english on monday... so i'm a bit stressed out. i might make my sister or dad buy something and i'll pay them back... or i'll just write a nice lengthy note, maybe a poem, and be nice to her all day. shouldn't be too hard.
 
well i got a double problem my mom's birthday is on mother' day so i have to get her something really really good.
man today is my borthers birthday and tomarrow is my mom's man it's hard

(we never really celebrate much of anything... including Mother's day...)
 
I was a brave soul and just told my mom that I don't have a gift for her. I have a great mom. She said, "That's o.k.. I already got my gift the day you were born." I think I'm on the clear... LOL. I have a great mom.

blue - That must be hard for your mom. =P She gets less presents, lol. (Well, think about it. I bet you're not going to give her two gifts... just one gift. ;p) Same goes for babies born around Christmas, lol. @_@; Although, I'm sure it's the appreciation and not the gifts that count. ^^;

TRIFORCE89 - Lucky. =P I really just hustle up my brother and get him to help me with something for my mom, but I doubt I'll be able to pry him away from the PS2. <_<;
