  • Natures and hold items may help. But I can evaluate them all as Hardy with no hold item.

    Blastoise-ok
    Charizard-no
Some people like Lonely Phy Zards with Belly Drum, but I prefer F/Thrower, D Claw, Bite, HP Grass
    Houndoom-standard
    Lanturn-T Wave over I/Beam
Venusaur-Leech Seed, Toxic, Razor Leaf, Sludge Bomb/EQ
Scizor-no idea. Phy attack moves including Metal Claw/Steel Wing

elitefour_protector, work on your rating skills.
    Blastoise
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Rapid Spin/Rest
    Haze/Rest

    Charizard@Salac berry
    Belly drum
    Sub
    EQ
    HP:Flying

Use with a Magneton. Or go with elitefour_protector's set... um, no Bite though.

    Venusaur
    Sludge Bomb
    SD
    Leech Seed
    Sleep Powder

I've got no idea if that's right, but don't use e4_p's set.

    Scizor
    FuryCutter
    Steelwing
    Swords Dance
    Double Edge

Uh... no. The SubRever is probably the best set for it. If you want some other options, www.smogon.com should help.

    Houndoom
    Will-O-Wisp
    HP:Grass

    Flamethrower
    Pursuit

    Lanturn
    Confuse Ray
    Thunderbolt
    Surf
    Icebeam

Not sure about this one. Don't get rid of IB though... or T-Bolt for that matter. You'd probably want T-Wave>C-Ray on this set.

    Pretty good set A.Coz :P

Blastiose: Basically an anti-sweeper, haze, toxic, and they're down. Rest if you need health

Charizard: Well, it's what my zard loks like, and it works well for me.

    Venusaur: The basic venusaur drainer

Scizor: Swords dance, then sweep away

    Houndoom: good

    Lanturn: good

the only boltbeam resisters are Lanturn, Magneton, and Shedinja. Maggy is resistant to Grass anyway, Lanturn+Lanturn action battles are just Parafuse offs, and Sheddy is imnune to Grass anyway.

heh. I tried HP grass on Regice once. I must say, pokemon should stick to what they know, cuz it'll huirt in the end. HP grass on Starmie is kinda cool though.

i dunno... hardly anyone's intimidated by swamp. it's just too slowww and curse doesn't work that well on it. you can always bring in a fast pokemon and use encore to force a switch or something, or a pokemon with grass attack for the OHKO. cursing swamps suck :S

i'd say always go bolt beam on an electric. take advantage of the high special att. if you run into bolt beam resistence then consider bad luck and switch or whatnot, but bolt beam is the standard.

then explain how it is the single best switch forcer.

it's just too slowww and curse doesn't work that well on it.

how the **** does that make sense? if it is already so god**** slow, why not make it slower and more powerful?

you can always bring in a fast pokemon and use encore

Jumpluff and Alakazam are the only things. Areo says 'sup to both.

to force a switch or something,

to the Aero that'll **** both up? great idea!

or a pokemon with grass attack for the OHKO.

Alakazam HP Grass fails to OHKO. BTW, everything uses grass moves because of this thing.

    cursing swamps suck :S
never gotten assulted by the STABed EQ doom have you?

stop sucking *** and playing people who suck *** and then we'll talk.

  • e4protector sent out Charizard.
    xxx sent out Swampert.
    Charizard used Hidden Power(97% damage)
    Swampert used Curse
    Charizard used D Claw.
    Swampert fainted.

YEAH LIKE SWAMPERT WILL STAY IN ON SOMETHING WITH A GRASS MOVE AND CURSE LIKE AN IDIOT **** THAT WAS A RETARDED SITUATION THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN BECUASE NO ONE IS THAT ****ING STUPID.

please can you people come up with realistic situations? like, I don't know, Swampert using Surf/Rock Slide/Ice Beam at least? Jesus, why do I stay here?

BTW, you have to be pretty **** lucky to find a cursepert without Sp.def EVs and a Sassy Nature AND deal maximum damage with Hidden Power Grass. even then you couldn't do 97% in one hit.

For Blastoise, get rid of Bite and give it Hydro Pump. It is better.
surf works fine enough. Blastoise is more defensive anyway.
