So this one was definitely my most awkward and hilariously wonky idea yet.
-8- Creatures
-4- Walking Atlas
-4- Tideforce Elemental
-28- Other Spells
-4- Everflowing Chalice
-4- Mind Spring
-2- Tezzeret the Seeker
-4- Comet Storm
-4- Earthquake
-3- Negate
-3- Essence Scatter
-2- Double Negative
-2- Into the Roil
-24- Lands
-4- Halimar Depths
-4- Scalding Tarn
-10- Island
-6- Mountain
-15- Sideboard
-2- Swerve
-4- Flashfreeze
-3- Banefire
-3- Obelisk of Grixis
-3- Seer's Sundial
So the idea with this deck is to use Tezzeret, Everflowing Chalice, Tideforce Elemental and Walking Atlas to make hilariously beautiful music together. Tideforce and Atlas can drop all your lands into play provided you have enough blue mana to spare, and from there, either go into Chalice or Mind Spring, draw up more lands to pour out, then Earthquake / Comet Storm FTW.
Tez shines on all fronts here; he untaps Atlas when Tideforce can't, he untaps your Chalices in a way that makes Garruk blush, and when all else fails, he transforms your Chalices and Atlases into beaters.
The best part is, aside from Tez, this can all be done at instant speed, and with Tideforce, you can create a softlock on your opponent so long as you have the Atlases to do so; tap their creatures for lots of fun times.
Upon further notice, Repeal is a great card here, making me think of this deck having a possible use in Extended as well, though that's probably too ambitious.
Let me know what you think! =D
