Eminem is from Detroit, Michigan, not from the west coast.

I like everything pretty much, besides classical and country music.

So how often does everyone buy new CDs?

I rarely do as I'm always tight on budget... but when I do, it's always an old album that I've always wanted that I've never gotten... like now... I just got:

Phantom of the Opera (1986 original cast). I've just finished the first Act and it's still the same musical that I've come to love and adore.

Led Zeppelin III... immigrant song is awesome... XD

...*Shifty eyes*

Well...I don't usually get the chance, actually...>>;

The CD stores in Boston are horrible. I only recently got like 8 CDs in one go, because there's a record store in Hollywood by the name of Amobea records- It's HUGE. Literally, it's probably the biggest record store in America, and I suggest anyone who is going to California stop by there. =]

Just wanted to say I'm off to a No Use For A Name concert tonight. Doubt 'yall know who they are...

Well, does anybody like industrial music? :(

Moi does. And if Amanda (Team Magma Girl) stops in, we could have ourselves a pretty good conversation on our industrial. =) XD She knows way more bands and stuff in that genre than I do, so yeah. But oh well. I can list some of the ones I like anyway:

KMFDM
Suicide Commando
:Wumpscut:
Skinny Puppy
Marilyn Manson*
Nine Inch Nails*
Mortiis

*May be deemed other genres by some people, but they have elements of industrial.

Um, no. What you're saying is, I have a long way before I discover YOUR music, in which I do not consider bands like SlipknoT real music.

Considering I showed you a list of bands that I listen to, you just called The Beatles not music, or unintentionally implied it. Hence I suggest you take that back. =]
LMFAO.

Slipknot? lololemeomg heuehue

You must have smoked some terrible stuff this morning... D:
And yeah, the list of bands you showed me made me ROFL... Disturbed... LOL... xD
Hmmm, and I know that as a matter of fact, the Beatles suck. =[
People like to go 'omfg u no knoe real muzik i r retrolol', but I find these comments quite idiotic, really... I don't care how much the beatles rocked at that time... Their music is a classic, but it's not what I'd call real music. :]

Music is music because it's music. The way you talk about the Beatles as if you only heard their early songs. Seriously dude. Haven't you even heard of The White Album? Abbey Road? Sgt. Peppers? I can't see how Beatles is not "real" music in your standards. Or perhaps your view on music is just so narrow minded as incoherent screaming and repetetive power chords such as those losers that play in my school. =D

1. Who are you to judge what's real music or not? I don't like rap, but I don't go around saying it's not real music because I know it'll just upset people. Even if I do think it. Tact, buddy. Learn it.
2. How are the Beatles not real music? If the Beatles hadn't existed, I doubt half the music that exists today would be here at all. They're legendary for a reason. When they came out, they were something that had never been heard before.

And btw...

I like Cannibal Corpse. XD

And enough of the ranting. o.o

I haven't been able to put down the Nirvana albums I got a few weeks ago...Nevermind, In Utero, and Unplugged in NY...they're so good. I know you have them, Niko...o.o Anyone else a fan of Nirvana?

...and why are you telling us that without even backing up your statement? x.o; Seriously, if they're that wonderful, there must be a reason why. There's no such thing as "best" in the arts, because it's a matter of perspective.

I am the music judge. Inferior species can only discuss about what I judge. They'll never change the law coming out of my supreme mouth.
And as a side note, why would I use tact with Eliana, if I am clearly aiming to upset her? 8D

Oh, and by the way, I still think that Beatles suck. So that's final. kthxbye

If you're trying to upset me, you are doing one of 2 things:

1) Not upsetting me, just clearly pissing me off.
2) Being a complete twat.

I'm just going to ignore you and move on with life. =]

You don't need to say why a band is your favorite, IMO. =/ I go around saying "I like pizza", do I need to say why?

I love Green Day. (NO RLY!?)
I have written quite a few essays on them, and the fact that people go around saying "LAWL GREN DEY SOLD OUT!!!!111 LAWL!!!"

'Tis quite annoying after a decent amount of time.

Just thought I'd tell 'yall I went to a No Use For A Name concert the other night. I met 2 of the bands.

Suicide Machines and Versus the World.

YA RLY! =O

I see that your inferior ways of response means that you have not found the right words to back your claim that The Beatles suck. Now, I must refrain from wasting my time. I'm sure that I don't need much of your sophomoric comments.

The Beatles are the greatest rock band ever.

R.I.P John Lennon <<<Random

There's no such thing as 'The Greatest Rock Band Ever' because music is a matter of perspective like every other type of art... The Beatles are just the band that has sold more than any other, and that happened because of their very own talent. But anyways, the number of albums a band has sold does not matter if you're talking about the best one. Times change, and that does matter in their popularity and in the number of albums they sell. That would make Thriller a better album than Led Zeppelin IV, or Millenium by the Backstreet Boys better than Abbey Road.

If you want to start comparing the most awesome rock bands and see which one is the best of them all, you can start with The Eagles, Queen, The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake & Powell, AC/DC, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Kansas, Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane...But there are MANY more I'm forgetting.

Oh, and don't worry, I didn't forget The Rolling Stones, U2, Nirvana, or R.E.M. Great bands, I really mean it, but In my opinion they can't be ever compared with any of the ones listed before. ^_^

btw,

lol, idont see beatles as a rock band

Lol, John Lennon must be trembling in his grave right now, huh.
