But saying they were at any time not rock...that's just plain wrong. x_x; The Beatles were pretty much the innovators for most music that's around today. They deserve all the credit they get for being so good, and pretty much inventing an entire genre.[/size]

I don't actually consider the Beatles rock. While they may have inspired rock bands, I still feel that their music is more pop than anything else. So sue me~

Do you have a right to vituperate punk music? Saying "it sucks" is sure to merit you a plethora of negative responses and you'll appear cockamamie as a result. I suggest you back such audacious statements and claims, or don't voice them period.

I should request the very same thing of you. I'm speaking English, which apparently is your dialect.

What I am trying to say is that you should not get so easily riled up and lose your level-headed disposition due to someone else's assertion. I am in no way taking sides, I am merely trying to keep you from further inconveniencing and perplexing yourself. You have claimed "punk sucks", factually, but you haven't provided any acumen as to why (as Kylie has previously stated). You are free to state your thesis, but not as palpability. What one would call good music or music period, is purily based on perspective.

I don't see how you could even conjecture that Eliana would think that she is superior to you just from saying "You entertain me, child". You have gambeded to conclusions and may have made a false accusation; your misconception might cause dissidence and agitation, which is what I am trying to prevent.

Heh, I just got Fightstar's album, and it's absolutely brilliant. The songs are excellent, especially Waste a Moment, and Mono. Charlie sings his *** off, it's all brilliant. Defiantely worth checking out.

Lol, that's today's "punk" you're talking about. The true punk was at some point a great music made by people that could actually play their instruments(Awesomingly good).

Sadly all what is left is just a bunch of punk influenced pop bands (Which I don't dare to mention in order to avoid several Rolling Pichu-bashing posts) That try but don't really achieve to impersonate the image (Again, they fail to imitate the music, which is now too mediocre, and that can't be denied) of the seventies' punk rock wave. Punk has taken a bad way trough time... And that path is called Emo. This kind of music does not give us the same mesagge that it used to, and complains about mostly foolish things instead of the real and important themes that it's supposed to...
