Death Cab for Cutie are one of my favorite bands. Their lyrics are awesome.
Title and Registration is my favorite song by them, definatly.

80s was a hit and miss decade of music. The start of the decade came the kindling remnants of 70s punk, which is now called post-punk, and paved the way to metal diversities such as Shred and Hair Metal. But otherwise, the 80s yielded several great bands... You can probably guess which is my favorite band and album of the 80s... =D

Death Cab is great. I wouldn't say they are one of my FAVORITE bands, but I definately dig them. I missed a chance to see them play back in October and I was a little ticked. :\
 
I dont like punk at all. My heart has gone to metal long time ago=)
 
I can't stomach punk. Way too anti-everything for me.

I was a HUGE metal fan growing up...I can still listen to some of it...I still dig Metallica, White Zombie, some Pantera, and I love love LOVE Hair MEtal. Yeah, I admit it. But that death metal crap I used to listen to? No thanks.
 
~I used to like metal. Now my taste in music has changed abit, and I just listen to everything that sounds nice in my opinion. I used to hate pop, now I really like some songs. It really depends on how the song sounds.
-But my favourite type of music has to be punk, I couldn't stand it, but now I definitely love it <3~~
 
Death metal and black metal is not crap!
Heavy is a bit better, but every of them rule

Like Toy Soldiers And Mocking Bird Has to be his greatest songs IMO.
 
I'm not a fan of metal, personally I like music where I don't have to go and run off to find the lyrics to realize what they're saying, stereotypical but meh.
 
Sometimes it's fun to guess at what they're saying...since the lyrics you get are so random. I once ran into a site that collects misheard lyrics from users...and some of them are hilarious. XD

maya miyazono ~ Eminem is really the only rap I can tolerate. So I like most of his songs, but especially Without Me. ^^;

People listen to that music all for the "image." You seem like a real bad mofo when you tell someone "I listen to satanic music and cookie monster screams and garbles and they wear black facepaint"...I tease my boyfriend about it all the time, since he listens to that garbage.

I'm willing to bet once you're older, you won't listen to it. My boyfriend is 22 now, and listens to it VERY rarely. It's designed to attract mislead teens. You never see older folks listneing to it.

Meh, I listen to metal, and I listen to it for the music...not the image...and I'm like the only person around here that I know of that listens to that kind of stuff...I dun do it to look cool, I just like it... Most of the people that are into any rock at all either listen to only classic stuff, or think that "Hawthron Hights is t3h kewlest bannd evar!".

What kind of metal are you guys talking? I listen to stuff like Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Cradle of Filth (really commercial these days, but still), Cannibal Corpse, Messhugah, Metallica (older stuff, the only song that caught me from the Black Album onward was Enter Sandman), Anthrax, Lacuna Coil, Testament, Slayer, Arch Enemy, and other stuff. A big blend of bands. What about you peeps? o.o

Recently I've been listening to 4 bands constantly...Tool, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, and Alter Bridge.[/SIZE]

Punchline's new album is out today <3. I've been looking forward to it, but I doubt it'll be in stores here, so I may have to import it, or order it online, or both. They're on FBR (FOB's label), and are very good; I listened to one of their songs 9 times in a row today, and I'm still not sick of it. They're also friendly, and hang out often in their chatroom. Try them~

I am looking for the new Rhapsody album, which i a live album^^ around in the stores, but i can't find it.....

Fav song at the moment would probably be Down with the Sickness by Disturbed. Kickass lyrics.
