    ...what are the best tracks from G/S/C?

    I am making a CD, and so far I have these:

    Eusine Theme
    Legendary Beasts Theme
    Champion/Red Theme
    Route 3 Theme


    Any other worthy mentions?
     
    In no specific order:
    Violet City
    Azalea Town
    Route 26
    Rocket Encounter
    Burned Tower
    Staff Roll/The End
     
    Ecruteak City is definitely a favorite overworld music for me. As for a battle theme, the trainer theme and the Lance/Red battle theme are amazing.
     
    Yeah, I'm a fan boy. Got the whole OST. 86 tracks.

    If I had to chose though. It would be..
    Surfing Theme.

    The obvious one is Dark Cave/Ice Path, but I'll throw in Mt. Silver/Victory Road, too.
     
    The best soundtrack I think is the Kanto Gym Leader Battle Theme in G/S/C.

    But I really like how the Johto Gym Leader Battle Theme was remixed in HG/SS.
     
    The Bike theme was ultimate Fav. Apart from that: Rival Battle, Rival Encounter, Lance's Theme and youngster theme was also awesome.

    Route I'd have to say was the most annoying - it's on my itunes
     
    Dark Cave Dark Cave. DARK CAVE!!!!!!!!

    When you fight Red is pretty epic too, but Dark Cave takes the cake.
     
    The Azalea/Blackthorn tune !
    It rocks hard , and the remix from FRLG is even better !
    Also , the Violet Tune is pretty good too .

    Mt. Moon is quite good (not on the acc) so is the park theme, and goldenrod city, ecruteak (buena's password and Ben are also good)

    Quite differs from my mood thought:)

    Edit: I must also say that in SSHG the music is pretty bad imo

    No one's mentioned Tin Tower? <-----By far the most epic music.

    Champion Lance/Red Music <-----again, epic

    But seriously, Tin Tower and Champion/Red music are the best ones.

    Red is indeed a very good song, and probably for me the most memerable game theme song ever (ok, maybe Tetris, Dr. Mario and Mario 1-1 are moor memerable, but I'm not sure) It is at least the most epic one, I still can see myself finishing that battle for the first time, and noticing I was sweating 0_0.

    However, when I only look at the quality of the song, not attached to any memories, I do not think this is the best song by far.

    Azalea, goldenrod, mt. moon, gym theme for example are better as they have more emotion in it.

    However I do agree, it is one of the most epic and memerable songs I have ever heard. (and heard it a lot +- 150 times:P)

    -VS Lance/Red theme(EPIC. My favourite Champion battle theme ever)
    -Indigo Plateau theme
    -VS Kanto and Johto Gym Leader themes
    -Indigo Plateau theme
    -Vermilion City theme
    -Ecruteak/Cianwood City theme
    -Saffron/Pewter City theme
    -Azalea Town/Blackthorn City theme
    -Lake of Rage theme
     
    In order:
    1. Route 27
    2. Vs Lance/Red
    3. Indigo Plateau
    4. Tin Tower
    5. Victory Road.

    I thought Route 27 was the best because the tune is by far the most epic, and memorable. It has a feeling in beats. Every time I hear the tune I think of this dialogue: "Go forth and kick ass, son...I know you can do it."
