    In the last footage of Pokemon Sunday it was possible to hear a bit of music of the upcoming game:
    -in the battle against zoroark I guess it's played wild pokemon music;
    -in the starters' battle the trainer music(or maybe rival?);
    -last you can hear hyun city music.

    What do you think of the music up now? It's goood or bad?

    For me the battles musics are very goood, and hyun city music is goood too, but maybe a bit too much calm for a city that big.

    I can't remember teh battle music, but I do remember Hiun City's music being somewhat...calm. Really I'm not too picky on the music. I love DPPt and HG/SS's music though. It seems like the music gets better as each new pokemon gen/game comes out!

    It sounds a lot better compared to the sassy R/S/E music, and maybe even on par or a tad better than the D/P/P music. Overall, I'd say I'm pleased.

    Like you, I didn't listen a lot to the music of my first games, to not dry the GBA battery, but now I've learned to appreciate them (thanks to lithium).
    I also agree that music gets better in every game: HG/SS have wonderful themes, really well redone from the past version.

    Talking about R/S/E I wonder how the music will be in the (I hope) remakes. The themes were good, but GBA wasn't so good, in my opinion, in music, especially now compared to the DS. I'm really looking forward to hear them!

    The new city's theme is very promising (it reminds me of a mix between G/S/C and R/S/E), but where in that video did the battle music play?

    Idk, I think it did but I was too busy starring at the animated pokemon to notice. The music may not even be listened too that much because all the animation in the battle, and when just roaming around the region will catch your full attention. Game Freak is creating a new version of ADHD :D

    During the battling of course.....you gotta listen hard

    In-Game Music

    For the in-game music, I'd like to hear different trainer music. Its always the same music, and same with leaders. How about some more indepented music?

    ^ That would take the soul out of the game. The music is extremely important in Pokemon games (and in any video game) and that would just ruin everything. I may have misunderstood you though. I get the impression that you want to have Dragonforce or some **** playing whilst you battle.

    The Gym music and battle victory music should stay the same as it always has been. I'm hoping for some epic tunes in this generation.

    HeartGold and SoulSilver had some of the best video game music I have ever heard in my life. They'll be a hard act for Black and White to follow up.

    it would b cool to hav differant music for differant areas... like when ur surfing, when ur in a cave, at night etc. that and the animation sprites could make level grinding less painful.

    I love the idea of different music for each trainer type!

    It may take up some space, but given modern file compression, it wouldn't bee too much of a problem.

    Maybe a different music for each type of area, for the wild Pokemon?

    Right now, I've listened to Hiun City theme so many times now... It's not old yet.

    Hell yes, it's an awesome theme. All we've heard is 20 seconds, yet in that short 1/3 of a minute, it screams "New York City!" with its jazzy big-city feel, and also has a port-like seaside sound to it as well! It also, somehow, retains the laid-back nature that makes all Pokémon area music awesome.

    If the rest of the music is as good as Hiun City's, I'm going to love this game.

    I'm gonna wait to give my opinion on the music when I hear the full tracks.

    We only get small portions of it in the clips.

    And @Azzurra, RSE's Music was amazing! Probably the best part ABOUT the games themselves!
