    Is there music that you now like because you heard it in an anime?

    What are some of your favorites?
     
    A Cruel Angel's Thesis is probably the best theme song ever written. It fits so well with the images, and has just the right mixture of different styles.
     
    Some Japanese stuff I guess, although that's fairly obvious.

    This isn't a post links to Youtube thread - though its fine if your post also has an answer to the question.

    I got into several songs because of animes! The newest one is the opening song for Darker Than Blank which is Howling by Abingdon Boys School.

    I also love the opening to Chobits even if some may think its corny. Let Me Be With You <3

    The opening to Ceres is really good too! Scarlet ^^
     
    I'm not a newly fan of a GENRE of Music, however I listen to artists/groups such as:
    - UVERworld
    - Orange Range (KIRIKIRIMAI!!!!!)
    - Utada Hikaru
    - TM Revolution
    - Maximum The Hormone
    - High and Mighty Color
    - Kotoko
     
    I've gotten into tons of bands thanks to anime, most notably my favorite band, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR when they did the second opening to Gundam SEED DESTINY. More recent stuff would probably be Kelun and SunSet Swish through BLEACH and VELTPUNCH through Nabari no Ou.

    I watched a few episodes of FLCL once and that introduced me to The Pillows. I learned "Carnival" on my guitar because I just thought it was such a good song.
     
    For me, the answer is no. There are a few things, but nothing particularly notable.
    Though stuff by IOSYS, that seems to have something to do with whatever exactly Toho Project is, can be nice.

    If it wasn't for True Light, I would have never (?) started watching DN Angel in the first time.

    I got some opening songs from some anime that I found amusing (e.g. Shaman King, Naruto etc.).
    I'm also a fan of Japanese stuff and I know Japanese, so I like to listen to them.
     
    I don't listen to a lot of Japanese music, but I did get into Do As Infinity and Ayumi Hamasaki through Inu Yasha. "Fukai Mori" by DAI and "Dearest" by Ayumi both got stuck in my head when they were end credits, and I just went and downloaded more by those artists. I'm not really into DAI anymore, but I still listen to a lot of Ayumi Hamasaki.
