TWILIGHT FESTIVAL
Once every hundred years, in the realm of Sollustia, the most majestic, exciting and unique event of all takes place there. The Twilight Festival. Kings and Queens, princes and princesses, mercenaries, adventurers, salesmen ... people from all over the world gather to attend this festival, forgetting their past, their homelands, leaving everything behind to go to the supposed most sacred and lively event of all existence. The Twilight Festival is a way to thank the gods Sol and Luna for keeping the balance between day and night. Many do not know of the spirits that walk the earth at night, much less the morning. Their job is to ensure that none trespasses into the others time. That is the purpose of this festival, to reward the gods for their long restless job.

MAFIA
Mafia is a party game modelling a conflict between an informed minority, the mafia, and an uninformed majority, the innocents. To not occupate more space from the thread, I'll redirect you to a simpler guide.
However, this isn't going to be the typical mafia game.
The game features three factions. The Sol followers, represented by orange. The Luna followers, represented by plum. And at last, the Eclipsius followers, represented by turquoise.
The Sol faction consists on abilities that can be used only on the day, while the Luna factions consists on abilities that can be used only on the night, and with some abilities that influentiate the day as well.
Although, both of these factions are the uninformed majority.
The Eclipsius faction consists on followers with abilities that can be used at either day or night, or both. Or neither. However, this faction has independent members, meaning that they don't work as a group, but rather by themselves.
The win condition of Sol is to eliminate all the followers of Luna and Luna's win condition is to eliminate all the followers of Sol.
Eclipsius have their own uniques win conditions. They are also able to get Luna and Sol's skills.

SKILLS
Instead of having each player assigned a unique role, we'll have skills which will be assigned depending on the alignment they chose. You may have more than one skill, and they can only be used during the time of chosen alignment (Sol followers can use them during the day only, and Luna followers can use it during the night only. Eclipsius followers are able to use them on both day and night).

SOL SKILLS
These skills can be used only during the day...
Alert: At the start of the day, it will be publicly announced the names of those who visited you at night.
Influence: Your votes during the day will increase +1.
Party: Can choose to initiate a party during the night. The party will block all skills from Luna's followers.
Telepath: Any time during the day, you may anonymously send a message to someone in private.
Bomber: If is going to be lynched, they can take down another player with them.
Oracle: After being lynched, they will publicly show a player's identity to everyone.
Illusion: Can put the blame of any action they do in someone else.
Auto-equip: Gains a new item each day.
Unlynchable: Has specific days that cannot be lynched.
Research: Learns the alignment and skills of every dead player.

LUNA SKILLS
These skills can be used only during the night...some may influentiate the day.
Invite: Sends an unrefusable invite to two players, in which one can be themselves, to a chat. Both players will know each other's alignment and identity.
Stalk: Follows a player each night. Will learn if chosen player is a follower of Sol, Luna or Eclipsius.
Gifter: Gives an item of choice to another player.
Oracle: Upon death, reveals a player's alignment only to the followers of Luna.
Bleed: Will live for two more phases before dying.
Steal: Steals an item from another player. Can also steal someone's skill, but only once.
Curse: Writes a word with 5+ letters and chooses a player. If the chosen player says the word, they will die.
Protection: Can choose to protect either self or another player from death. If failed, it will protect the player from a gunshot or a stabbing during the day.
Stalk: Follows a player each night. Will learn if chosen player is a follower of Sol, Luna or Eclipsius.

ECLIPSIUS SKILLS
These skills are unique, and each wielder may use them to win independently.
Love: At the beginning, chooses one player. Both skill wielder and the chosen one must be alive at the end of the game.
Kill: Each night phase, can choose a player to kill. If they don't choose anyone, they may kill during the day, but it will reveal their identity.
Inexistence: At any time during the game, can steal a player's alignment. Chosen player will turn into the inexistence. Upon death, it's revealed that the skill wielder has died, and that they're sided with Eclipsius.
Law: At night, can choose to switch votes between two person during the day.
Admire: At the beginning of the game, chooses one player. When chosen player dies, they will take their alignment and skills.
Autocratism: Rages all followers of Sol and Luna, and wins by staying amidst them until one side falls.
Foolishness: Wins by getting themselves killed.

ITEMS
Your skills won't be the only trumph that you'll have.
Shield: At the start of each phase, the player may choose to activate it or not. If activated, it can:
Lv. 1 - Defend a gunshot.
Lv. 2 - Defend a gunshot and a sword attack.
Can't be activated too late.
Sword: Day time use only. Stabs a player, which makes them bleed. A bleeding player survives for two more phases only (including night).
Lv. 1 - Bleeding player survives for two more phases.
Lv. 2 - Bleeding player lives until the end of the day.
Gun: Day time use only. Instantly kills another player. Can be blocked by a shield. Can't kill a bleeding player.
Lv. 1 - Can be blocked by shield and can't kill bleeding player.
Lv. 2 - If blocked by shield, the one who blocked it will bleed.
Key: During the day, the player may choose to lock themselves. Any action directed at them will bounce back to the one who performed the action.

HOW TO SIGN UP
This time, your alignment won't be chosen by a RNG. First, post here that you're in and then PM your choice of alignment, if you want to be sided with Sol, Luna or Eclipsius. However, the skills are randomised.
Eclipsius has a limited number of wielders, for the skills being unique, so some entries may be rejected.

RULES
- No Private Messaging other players about the game, unless with the permission of the GM.
- All Pok?Community rules apply.
- Do not post here once you have been killed. You get one death post, which may not contain any information pertaining to the game.
- Do not post in the thread while in Night Phase. Only exception is during parties.
- Abstaining is allowed by voting/lynching no one.
- Do not share your PMs! Furthermore, all game related conversation should be kept to this thread or to specified Discord chats.
- Missing two votes in a row will result in a replacement or a modkill. If you're going to be innactive, tell me beforehand so I can get you a replacement.
- To keep things interesting, replacements in this game will be given a choice of which alignment they'll choose. However, all actions present on the previous player will be directed to the replacement.
- Don't post anything regarding your role PM inside and outside of the game.
- Votes can be formatted as [Lynch] ??? or [Vote] ???.
