Mwar, I just watched? erm, I think it was called Power Play yesterday? mwar, it was the ep with RoboMechaWobbuffet. Anyway, at the start, I noticed that cockney kid's Alakazam had 7? count 'em, 7 attacks? I suppose it could be argued that Alakazam knows all them because it never forgets anything, but? I always thought Pok?mon only learned 4 moves at a time, even in the Anime. This is a might confusing?

Mwar, Zap Cannon, Psychic, Dynamicpunch, Hyper Beam, Teleport, Double Team, AND? mwar, I forget the last one, but I think ya get the point. I think I've seen a few other instances of this phenomenon that I forgot 0.o

Hmmm.... your right! *watches the episode over and over again and pauses it and fast forwards it and watches it over and over* xD I record all the episodes...

    But yeah, 7 moves?...

Mwar, Headbutt was the attack I forgot [dumb kid to teach an Alakazam any physical moves >.<], lol. *just saw 'zam use it XD*

    Mwar!

Well sometime in Kanto, when Pikachu learned Thunder,I've seen it use
    Thunder,Thunderbolt,Thundershock,Quick Attack,and Agility.

There was also that episode when it used skull bash.

    Yeah,it did.And I forgot Double-Edge.

Isn't anyone going to mention Drake's Dragonite from the Orange Islands??

Jynxie,I have a question for you,how do you have 4 blocks of rep with only 10 posts?

    Okay then,good enough.

The anime isn't like the games when it comes to moves, a Pokemon in the anime can use more than 4 moves.

An example of this is Pikachu:
    -Thundershock
    -Thunderbolt
    -Thunder
    -Quick Attack
    -Agility
    -Iron Tail

Only Pokemon in the games can learn a max of 4 moves.

Why not? If Alakazam is the smartest Pok?mon with an IQ of 5000, outranking that of a supercomputer, why can't it use more than 4? (even so, it was really dumb for it to use Psychic on Gary's Umbreon. Now if it were Mewtwo, I'm pretty sure that it would be a different story...)

When you guys think about it, wouldn't only memorizing four moves seem and forgeting current moves just to learn new moves the slightest bit odd? It's like a goldfish with only a four second memory span! I'm pretty sure Pok?mon aren't goldfish and I don't think Goldeen and Seaking are that dumb.

Now, to specialize in four moves sounds more like it. Besides, Pikachu has only used Thunderbolt, Thunder, Iron Tail, and Agility recently. That's why I think specializing is going on.

Now that I'm thinking about it... What's the four specialized moves that that kid's Alakazam had?

Coz you are not meant to have more than 4 in GB or GBA.
