It seems that *somehow* me being logged on is causing PokéCommunity Forums downtime!!!!!! like now, QUITE FREQUENTLY, I log on, make two mouse clicks and VOILA!!!! downtime!!! there MUST be something wrong with my profile because just MINUTES after I log on PokéCommunity Forums FREQUENTLY gets downtime!!!!!!!!

Whoa whoa whoa calm down there dude!

The forums have been a bit slow for me today and it did crash on my end a few minutes ago, but I don't think it was due to yourself but rather having so many members online at once. There's usually times so many people are browsing the forums end up lagging or crashing. There's nothing wrong with you specifically so don't feel bad about it!

When the forums are down, I usually like to bide time by going somewhere else, like Tumblr or Pokemon Showdown.

Justin, please calm down. It is not you causing the PC server to lag, but just the high traffic in general. It is just a coincidence that it is happening at the same time you happen to log on. You are on right now and it is no longer lagging, so it can't be you can it? Just when this happens give the server a few minutes to cool down and everything will be ok. No reason to make an angry thread about it.

Well, you better quit, because it's all your fault.

Just kidding. It's probably the fact that you may be in the most popular timezone, therefore, the times you are frequently on, so are other people. It's just coincidental. Plus, there could be problems recently with the web host or something that could make this happen more frequently.

I LEAVE FOR 10 MINUTES, COME BACK = SERVER LAG AND SLOW (two mouse clicks again)!!!! it HAS to be MY account!!!!!!! SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH IT!!!!

The forums did lag a bit for me there, but it was due to high traffic and not specifically you. Server crashes and lagging aren't tied to one person, but rather stress caused by so many online at once.

Justin, it would be really appreciative by not only myself, but by the rest of the staff and other fellow members here if you remained tranquil in situations like this. It is not your fault at all on why the PokéCommunity has gone down. Downtime is unfortunately a common occurrence here on PC, and there's nothing that can be done about it at the moment, so you're just going to have to cope with it. If you ever see PC go down, just don't refresh constantly as that adds stress to the server, thus slowing the process of PC being able to come back online.

if it is not me... answer this then... why always as soon as I get on? please explain idgi

You're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Every time I try to get on when I'm at school, PC is down. It's not because I'm at school. It's merely a coincidence, and that's the same case here. A coincidence. When PC is down, you can just go do something else for about 15-30 minutes, like play Pokemon or watch videos on YouTube. Then come back and see if PC is back up, and if not, go back to doing something else. PC not being up 24/7 is not your fault, nor is it going to ruin your life or anything. There are other things to do than PC, so you'll need to figure those out when it's down so that you have something else to occupy your time.

Also, there are some times the forum is down for maintenance on certain days (usually the 1st and 15th of a month) where PC is expected to be down for part of the day. During the downtime you can just either browse other sites or do something else to pass the time. After waiting a few minutes you can always come back and check if PC's up or not. If it's still down just go back to what you were doing.

And like what Zach mentioned, don't refresh the page because it can cause the downtime to be longer. But like the others and myself said, you're not the problem for PC crashing, so don't feel bad about it.
