    O.K guys,
    Back when I was 6, I played Super Mario 64, I reached the Jolly Roger Bay and went to the sunken ship.
    Then, I saw it.
    Unagi the Eel.

    The scariest thing I've ever seen. I turned off the game and completely skipped the Jolly Roger Bay level.

    Now, 8 years later, I got Super Mario 64 DS and I'm playing the level again but I'm STILL scared of Unagi the eel.
    How can I overcome this fear? And finally gain all the Power Stars there?

    It's just a bunch of pixels that can't physically hurt you. Relax. The game exists to be played for fun, not to be scared.

    i got freaked out with the piano in the boo house. that things DANGEROUS. yeah i beat the eat and got the star.

    that things scary!

    We all have irrational fears, but I agree with Rekhyt. It's not like the piano and eel can jump out of the tv and eat you. Just chill, take a couple breaths, and play the game. You'll be fine. :]

    Dude, just relax and kick that thing's butt! I was scared of it as well when I was eight, but I got over it after a few... years.

    Now I'm scared of this! *Points down*

    It took me three tries to beat it, I aways turned it off when I could see it's face. Creepy stuff there.

    Just remember it's just a game; the developers didn't intend it to scare you.

    Well, it's just a video game character. Just realize that it won't come to kill you and you'll be fine!

    *looks behind her*

    OH MY JESUS CHRIST IT'S YUBER HE'S OUT TO MUTILATE ME.

    Myself? No particular character that scared me... I guess I'm just not easily scared.

    No Lie. Read it in GI. At this rate, if they decide to delay it, mabye another 3-6 months for editing. I'll give you the release date in a minute.

    And What About ASSASSIN'S CREED 2!?
    Spoiler:

    Well, I wish I could be more sensitive, but it's not real, you don't need to be scared. ^^;
    Yeah, it's a little creeping looking, but if you just go through it, (hopefully) you won't see it again.

    Lol, random spoilers.

    Anyhow, yeah, just remember that it's just a 3-D model on you DS. Now that I think about it... those monsters from Suikoden Tierkreis... I believe they're called "Bloodguts", they kind of scared me a little when I first saw them =P

    (I'll make a thread just for that, thx :cool: )

    This one game, Drakan: The Ancient's Gate, had some REALLY FREAKY SPIDERS. I didn't beat it till I turned 12.

    Oh yeah! I remember that game! The spiders didn't really creep me out. THE KILLER CHICKEN DID.
    Giant Chicken: This is possibly the most ridiculous enemy in the game. Basically it is an abnormally large chicken hiding in a cave with several disembowled corpses. It is surprisingly hard to kill in close quarters. When it is killed you receive a golden egg worth 1000 gold.

    Those frog things that ate people were pretty freaky too. Right, they're called Trogs. And the Flesh Mage made me have nightmares for a while as well...

    You played it?
    Wow. Not many people I know play that. Yeah, I remember the chicken. Arrok gave me a scare when I turned it on.

    Max Payne scared me when I was like...8? The walking on blood was trippy. And insane.

    (I think their names began with a G?)

    Yeah, my mom had it, and I picked up after she finished it. She moved onto Summoner 2, but riding a dragon that could shoot lightning bolts and speak was so much fun. The Blackwings were kind of freaky looking, though.

    Grolls were teh lulz. And the final boss was kind of... dissatisfying, especially considering you fought the Flesh Mage, and then... EVIL BUTTERFLY. Also, it was pretty funny how the waterwheel could freaking KILL you. Lulz.

    But back on topic... the Blackwings were pretty freaky too.

    Yeah, I killed myself for lulz.
    Yiazmat from FFXII scared me. Not cuz of his looks,but the damage he did was REDUNKLOUS! C'mon, 6000+ a hit? With a lazer?? WTF?

    Back to drakan: That wierd realm with the floating rocks wierded me out.

    I didn't know that eel thing even had a name. Swimming after it is kinda annoying...unless you're playing as Luigi. :)

    But anyway, there's nothing to be scared of. It's just a bunch of fancy pixels.

    Speaking of which, there's some underwater creature in Mario Sunshine with teeth you need to clean in order to get a star...now that was freaky. :x

    What, that fish that randomly appears in big/small world is way freakier. XD;;

    But many of the creatures in 64 were scary. :O Um, you should go pat a real eel (... I don't even know if that would be dangerous so meh) or something like that. XD;
