My Diamond team - Youtube Style.

Seriously, linkinpark187, you aren't acting any older than purfugly is (and fly sucks, how'd you not catch that in your ten years, though you could probably thrash me in a battle). As for the youtube team, try to get some walls to make your team stronger defensively. Blissey is good (super OU, though) as a special wall. I prefer steelix as a physical wall but it's your choice. Get rid of the ubers too.

Anti-Pop, not your fight, butt out. but other than that, i agree. getting a tank in there would be a good idea. i'd throw in a Torterra for sure. Nintendo was using their heads with that one. and Steelix is another good one, too. :D

END OF DISCUSSION!!! its over. how about we continue actually commenting on the thread at hand? its kind of stupid to fight over something pointless with a little 12 year old "know it all". i've said it before, i'll say it again, i have close to 10 years experience playing, i'm a bit more knowledgable than you. Pokémon isn't all about power, but strategy. but i guess someone who still lives off of their mommy and daddy like a parasite wouldn't understand that. now, end of discussion. no more, lets continue talking about the thread. i'm not going into a battle of wits with someone who is unarmed.

Says a person who thinks age plays a factor. I believe that you have 10 years of experience, you would have been 11 when you started. But I have a good six years under my belt as well, and in addition, I actually look around to see what other people think would be good. Being nine years old than I am doesn't mean you're more knowledgeable of the subject, and it certainly doesn't mean that you can put your knowledge to better use. If you'd like to retaliate, just send me a PM, otherwise, just don't bother. I really find it interesting that you think a twelve year old can't try to correct a twenty one year old who, at the moment, is acting like a ten year old. I see that this arguement may have potential, so feel free to continue it privately with me.

Don't want to take sides, but unless you WANT this to become a thread full of flaming, please think before you insult others.

we've already worked it out, so stop adding injury to insult.

but, as stated earlier, add some tanks. they'll help you out a lot. :D

Hmph. Looks like I gotta start reportin'...

Something to even out that there team of yours, tan,s, of course, but also better items. Soft Sand should never be used.

linkinpark, you're risking yourself getting a warning. You're not acting any maturer than Purfugly, and either you shut up about people being parasites because they live with their parents or I'm gonna have to get my "14-year-old" kiddy beating stick on you. You've been a child too, or were you actually adopted by potatoes? Quit it with this stupid age discrimination crap, and just because you're older doesn't mean you've got a higher IQ than a frog, because it's not really what you're demonstrating at the moment.

Can we stop the fighting? Fighting is for people who do not have any other ways of dealing with disagreement or some kind of problem. We're all at least old enough to read here, so let's get back on subject.

Hooray! Now we can talk about the youtube team! Anyone have any ideas for walls that aren't blissey and skarmory?

Feh, are there any walls that aren't Bliss/mory? Rhyperior. How about Mr.Mime? He is hardly ever talked about, and I don't see why.

Since all arguments I had against Linkinpark have been used by other people and a moderator has sorted this out anyway, I'll do the only thing someone has yet to do, rate the actual team:

I've completely rearranged my team now. Yes, they were HORRIBLE moves, and a few of them have bad natures, but I'm not training ANY pokemon for a while because I'm just finishing the others off for now.

Please stop criticizing my video, I posted it on youtube so people, not just on this forum, can rate it and all.

Anyways, here's my team:

Groudon @ Life Orb, 100, carfeul
EVs: I'm not a Groudon expert, but I'd say you should max out Attack, put a big chunk of EVs into HP and put the rest in Speed

Eruption Thunder Wave/Stealth Rock/Fire Blast/Shadow Claw
Dragon Claw Stone Edge/Rock Slide/Shadow Claw
Earthquake
Bulk Up/Swords Dance

Not the best nature, but it could be worse. Eruption generally sucks and Fire Blast should only be used if you fear Skarmory enough. Shadow Claw is extremely good in Ubers because a huge amount of them are Psychic. However, you really shouldn't use Ubers on a team that isn't meant for Ubers. You only have 2 Pokémon that would work well in Ubers, (Rayquaza and Groudon) but the rest of your team won't be able to handle them.

Tyrainitar @ Leftovers, 81, timid

Rock Slide /Dark Pulse/Crunch
Dark Pulse Focus Punch
Earthquake Thunderbolt
Rest Substitute

Bad nature. I'm not sure how well Boah works in D/P, but Timid wouldn't be a very good nature for a CBer and this one doesn't have Dragon Dance so I couldn't make it a DDer. Timid is possibly the worst nature for Tyranitar, though. =\ However, if you want, you could try out a Choice Specs Tyranitar (though it's somewhat of a novelty set):

Tyranitar @ Choice Specs
Timid Nature (though Modest would be better, but whatever)
EVs: 252 SP.Attack, rest in HP and and Speed

- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Focus Punch/Thunderbolt
- Thunderbolt/Fire Blast/Flamethrower

Tyranitar's Special Attack is decent so this could work. Ninjask's Attack stat is lower than Tyranitar's Sp.Attack, but it's still an excellent CBer so this could just work.

Swellow, 100, Modest (Flame Orb)

U-turn
Facade
Brave Bird
Roost Protect

Extremely bad nature. x__x Anyway, Swellow doesn't have the Defenses and HP to use Roost efficiently and Protect will guard you the turn Flame Orb hasn't activated yet.

Salamence @ Life Orb, 100, bashful

Crunch
Dragon Claw
Protect Draco Meteor/Fire Blast
Rock Slide/Stone Edge/Thunder Fang

A Dragon Dance-less or Hydro Pump-less Salamence is a sad Salamence indeed so I'm afraid I couldn't come up with anything better.

Dragonite @Life Orb/Leftovers, 67, jolly

Wing Attack/Aerial Ace
Thunderpunch
Outrage/Dragon Claw
Dragon Rush Dragon Dance

Finally a good nature and apart from one move, the moveset was fine too.

Rayquaza @Choice Specs, 100, modest

Dragon Pulse Draco Meteor
Thunderbolt/Thunder
Surf Ice Beam
Earthquake Overheat

A hit-and-run Rayquaza. Requires some prediction but is extremely deadly if you use it right. Basically you'll just attack with Draco Meteor if whatever your target is doesn't resist it or one of the other moves isn't super effective on it. Overheat also deals massive damage and will make the likes of Skarmory and Forretress stay far away from you.

Your team is in need of a serious make-over. First off, if you're not going to battle against other Uber users, replace the Ubers with something else. If you are going to play in Ubers, you should make your team a proper Uber team. If you aren't, take out Rayquaza and Groudon and either Dragonite or Salamence. (I suggest you take out Salamence because Dragonite has a good nature.) Replace two of the Pokémon already mentioned with a special and physical wall, which would be either Cresselia or Blissey for special and Rhyperior, Tangrowth or Skarmory for physical. Of course there are others, but those are the ones from the top of my head. The last one should be replaced by a mixed sweeper such as Electivire or Infernape.

You should also re-breed and EV train your whole team, but if you're adamant on keeping the ones you have now, be my guest. After all, it's your team and you're free to do whatever you want with it.

And as a side-note, use this format the next time you make a rmt thread, it makes it easier to read:

Your Pokémon @ [The Pokémon's held item]
Ability: [Your Pokémon's Ability]
Nature: [Your Pokémon's Nature]
EVs: [Insert EV spread here]

- Move 1
- Move 2
- Move 3
- Move 4

Feh, are there any walls that aren't Bliss/mory? Rhyperior. How about Mr.Mime? He is hardly ever talked about, and I don't see why.
Gee... I wonder why Mr.Mime isn't used as a wall? Could it have something to do with the fact that its HP and Defense suck and even though its Sp.Defense is high, its HP isn't high enough to support it?

Don't gotta be sarcastic, Smarties. As far as special walls, his moves are good for support.

I'm sarcastic by heart. =P Don't take it personally. Mr. Mime would be a good support Pokémon in OU if it only had a bit more HP, but it doesn't. =\ It still makes an excellent Calm Mind Passer in UU, though, but everyone and his friends will OHKO Mr. Mime in OU, I'm afraid.

Ok, I'm just touchy like that. That post saved me writing a thread about Mr.Mime. My cousin likes that, and I think it's a solid choice.

Hypno is pretty good too. My favorite wall of all time is steelix. 200 base defense...Wow!

Steelix does have some monstrous defense, but be VERY careful. Earthquake is one of the most popular moves used in battling, if not the most popular, so you'll probably want to include a Pokemon that resists ground attacks.

As for walls, you can always look into Cresselia. My team use to lack a Cresselia counter and wow, lemme' tell you that it hurt me. If you want a physical wall Pokemon and don't want Skarmory, go Forretress. I use him myself and he's awesome. One of the best Pokemon in the game that can actually utilize spikes.

You can pass reflect to steelix (and even light screen) and he's tough to take down. You're right though you can always switch to avoid it as well. Forretress is very good you're right but even ember could kill that thing. It's still good though I agree.

I'm currently training a Blissey and a Rhyperior. I took those move suggestions into perspective (apart from Tyranitar becuase I don't like the idea of focus punch), for my others and decided I am going to make two seperate teams, uber and non-uber. These are the ones that I am considering for my non-uber team.
