Try after the movement command on page one, put 'Wait for move's completion' before changing the self switch. And on page 2, have it set to Action Button instead of Autorun. And if you want him to disappear after walking, change his graphic to '(none)' on page 2.

If the above didn't fix your problem, it may be because you have a tile that you have behind your character can't be passed by an NPC... Before any NPC movement I always use, ThroughOn then at the end, ThroughOff.

When i change the graphic to (none) on page two, the same thing happens on page one. How do i fix this?

    And it still won't move:(
    Here is what i did

And also if i set it to (none) in graphics page 2, then page 1 also becomes (none)

At the top of Route 3, to the right of all the trainers where the flower-filled passageway is.

The example is a bit more complicated because it's for a rival battle (i.e. uses a different team depending on the player's starter) and there are two (almost) identical events for it because of the width of the passageway, but it's an example that seems to work.

It is not on my map list. Could you ScreenShot it?

    What are you struggling with?

Moving before battle or after battle?

You don't need selfswitchB there at all btw, changing second page to if selfswitchA is on would be fine.

Try changing the moveroute to event ID 11... I know a few events I've changed in the past have changed both pages graphics once... But never all the time, just one time after I copy another event first, like a door, where both pages graphics need to be the same.

As far as I can tell, you shouldn't have any problem, with the moveroute being fine, throughON and Off is there... Enough moves so your NPC doesn't freeze the game... You're problem is a strange one lol.

If copying an event from basic Essentials doesn't work and none of the above works, the only thing you can do is allow someone to check your game for you...

The event is on Shade Town outside a house there is a guy with purple hair.

I'm checking, and you're not wrong... That event is messed up

In my opinion, I'd update to version 11 of Essentials, because the version you are using is outdated... I've changed numerous things and nothing works... I've even created a new trainer and pasted a working trainer from my game... I'd upgrade if I were you

Why has no one told Daniel to get rid of the comments in his trainer's event yet? Those comments are undoing all your changes (during compilation) and reverting the event back to a bog-standard trainer without any move routes.

RMXP won't show this reverting because it doesn't refresh its information because it doesn't expect the data to change - trainer compilation and other things are Essentials features which RMXP never had. Closing and opening RMXP will reveal it.

Um Maruno, I done all that when I downloaded it, I even used my own trainers from my game, the move routes just never... Moved... Unless he had another trainer effecting this! But his trainers.txt only saw 1 extra trainer

That's a really old version of Essentials. I can't even open/play it at all, so I can't test it.

I can only suggest updating your game to be based on the latest Essentials. I don't know about your version of RMXP itself, though; mine is 1.02a (I didn't even know there were multiple versions).
