The pikachu is abit odd and the Voltorb looks a bit sad... But they're very cool!

Hmmm... they're okay for a newbie. The Pikachu is a bit sketchy. I suggest you use the circle/line/curved line tools on paint to make it look more official.

The Voltorb is cute, just needs a few touchups.

I give them an 8/10! Good work!
