Lol, if you read alot of tutorials, and use photoshop everyday, you'll get better in time.
I used to be VERY bad, they would all be the same style and there would be no flow..

Now, I just make it my own way, I look around and get ideas, then kind of put it all together, or just do whatever untill I think it looks nice.

Tutorials don't make you better, practice does. Tutorials are an illusion provided for the newbs to make the tutorial creators appear much higher level than the tutorial readers. Using Photoshop every day does not always help, but I use it every other day if not every day. Umm, don't think of it in terms of one banner a day, think of it like this: Say you want to create a really good piece. You're not going to spend only one day working on it, are you? You've got to do it over multiple days for it to be top notch. Alan, don't say that you were "VERY bad"... that's self-destructive. Say that you have gotten better, not that you used to be bad. Anyways, 6 and 7 are pretty good. It's just the text you have trouble with. Try looking at some of my type on TTF, try doing things like that. Keep your text placement in a spot that makes sense, and never ever rotate your font. I went through that, and... not so good.

I agree with Sawyer about the tutorial thing, they don't really help...perhaps they give ideas, but their not something to rely fully on.

Anyways, I veru much like 2 and 6. Number two is very Kawaii and number six is very cool.

I was saying that She should try and read some tutorials first since it will help her get better as she will be practicing and getting ideas, because it would be very hard for a person who is unfamliar with whatever program, and then just try and make something like yours.
But once she knows how to do all the basics and such she should try and make them her own way without tuts.
I wasn't saying that you only get better by reading them, but just to start off.

Ok, not VERY bad then, and yeah, I'm not that great with typo, still need to work on it!
