    1) Make Primal Kyogre a dual Water-Electric Type.
    2) Starting in Pokemon Z, Primordial Sea will protect Primal Kyogre from Ground type attacks, causing them to "erode away in the heavy rain." (So then how will Rock type attacks work? This is Pokemon logic, where Water type attacks fail in desolate land, but Ice type attacks work.)

-Primal Kyogre will get another typing it gets STAB off of.
-Just like with Primal Groudon and water moves, it will turn what would have been weaknesses into an immunity.
-It gets an immunity to Paralysis.
-Just like with Primal Groudon and ground attacks, it's left with only one weakness-Grass. Also, just like with Primal Groudon and ground attacks, this weakness can't be exploited much, because grass is a mostly special type, and Primal Kyogre's second highest stat is Special Defense.
-It can now safely switch into Primal Groudon without worrying about Fire blast or Precipice Blades, as both moves would fail in the heavy rain.
-It would get STAB off of 100% accuracy Thunder in heavy rain.

-In return, in hash sun, Groudon can guarentee a OHKO on Kyogre with supereffective Precipice Blades.

So how does this idea sound? If you find any issues with my idea, please let me know.

P.S. No, I will not give it a boost in speed or physical defense. If Kyogre gets either of these, it will be too overpowered.

I honestly dont believe that buffing Kyogre is the proper action. As Kyogre stands, he is quite balanced as his ability does not block a weakness of his. Groudon on the other hand, is really a pain. Being bulky and hitting hard while blocking one of his major weakness is OP. i think the ability should be nerfed. Maybe make it so that only spcial water type arracks are dissipated?

Interesting thought! I definitely think the lack of balance between the two of them is rooted in the fact that Primal Groudon is a dual-type while Kyogre is a pure Water-type. Fire, Ground, and the immunity to Water granted by Desolate Land all couple really well together to cover all its bases, so I think adding Electric to Kyogre effectively does the same...

My only thought is, you'd probably have to completely redesign Primal Kyogre to make Electric a fitting type for it. And the lore might need to be changed a bit too :P
