It's my snorlax I transfered from emerald version. Its got the exclusive counter move!

EV'S:252attack, 128hp and sp. defense

earthquake
counter

He's meant to be a special wall but if he's stuck up against a physical attacker he can surprise the opponent with counter!

If it's going to wall you need a Careful nature (+Sp.Def -Sp.Atk)

The EV spread should be 140HP / 252Def / 116Sp.Def to take hits more easiliy. You can slap Elemental Punches on it to boost the type coverage.

Don't use Body Slam, because the potential paralysis chance can ruin the suprise of Counter, should they happen to get paralyzed. Focus Punch for expected switches or elemental punches from Emerald for more type coverage. Crunch for the ghosties.

Hes not truly a wall he's just meant to take hits while dishing out lots of damage so thats why I maxed out his attack.

Snorlax needs Adamant to outrun Gyro Ballers.

Max out the HP Stat and give some EVs to Defense. With that HP, its begging for a recovery move. Rest / Curse does nicely.

I know that Adamant doesn't raise Speed. But Adamant won't lower Speed either. Most Gyro Ballers would carry a Relaxed Nature. Adamant with a Neutral Speed will still outrun Steelix and Forry.

by default, Snorlax's defense isn't too great.. but he has the HP to back it up at first... if you rest or set up with 1 or 2 curses... the Snorlax is a beast..


kabigon.... looks like you have a really good Snorlax for Trick Room.

If the IVs are good on him... you might wanna replace 1 of the moves for a special attack like Flamethrower or Thunderbolt (Fire Blast or Thunder if you prefer).... it's great for countering Skarms.... reason I mention Skarm is because you can't land supereffective hits on him...hmm....

That would be why they invented curselax :/ It's a special wall / awesome tank, not a physical wall. and shadowtails, lovin' the bliss thing :D
