My New Art Thread!

    Hey guys, I'm here again, with a brand-new art thread! :) I plan on posting a lot of my new art here that I've done recently, and a bunch of new things as well!

    To start things off, here's two of my Fakemon that I've created!

    They're both legendaries, and I really like their designs! Basically, Quadranti is the creator of galaxies, and Shaphoid is the destroyer of them. I based their 'relationship' after Darkrai's and Cresselia's relationship (Darkrai creates nightmares, Cresselia banishes them), but on a more universal scale.

    Well, what do you think? Comments are much appreciated! :)

    I love Quadranti's armor! Shaphoid's cape looks cool too!

    Playmaker: Well, if you notice, some Pokemon are really starting to look like Digimon nowadays. I think Gamefreak is running out of ideas, personally. ^^; But glad you like it all the same!
    Lockmaster24: Glad you like them! But I doubt I'll ever make sprites for them, and I won't let anyone use them in a ROM hack for my own reasons. ^^; But I actually made Quadranti 2 years before I even heard of Dialga, so I'm not changing its type.

    After watching the 10th Pokemon movie, the Rise of Darkrai, I got the idea for this Fakemon, and it would not leave me alone until I drew it. So, here it is! And yes, there are a lot of flaws in the proportions and whatnot, mainly because I didn't feel like inking this at the time I sketched it, so I just cleaned up the original sketch on Photoshop before I colored it. So please don't whine to me about proportions being wrong... believe me, I already know. XD Also, Oracion's wings, when open, look like the big glowing wings the bell towers kinda morphed into in the movie. :)

    My favorite on there is Oracion.

    My Celebi character, Wraith, annoying my Giratina. His name is Requiem. And he is not amused at all. XD

    Well, I would wait for some more comments, but I just made this thing, and I'm really proud of it. :)

    It's a clay sculpture of a Lugia that I painted in metallic silver paint (which I mixed myself- some iridescent pearl white paint mixed with a little black and special glaze), and I love it to death. :) It's about 9 inches tall, as well, so it used up a lot of my Super Sculpey. But the center of the sculpture is made of aluminum foil, so it's pretty sturdy.

    Wow I defintly a really awesome fakemon also fro manother thread I like your MD style origin form giratina is is very awesome =)

    also the metalic lugia is decent in my opion *I dont like metalic colors* , though I love how you posed the first picture it's like saying "im epic"

    the giratina get annoyed picture was quite funny

    Now, I'm sure you've all heard of the alternate form of Giratina by now. So, I got to thinking- why don't Dialga and Palkia have alternate forms? So... I created these!

    Dialga turns into the Temporal Form when it travels through time, and Palkia turns into the Spatial form when it travels through space! I thought it was a good idea, at least...

    The alternate forms of plakia and dialga look awesome. Nice idea too.

    Man, you are good. A bit of awkwardity in the claws of the first two fakemon, but these are awsome, I tell you. You colour well, you have a nice style with these and apparently you are creative, too. Your shadings are also good except for some weirdess in the yellow (or golden) parts of that Giratina (Requiem, was it?). I liked that "Tag, you're it"-picture a lot, though. The best fakemon is Oracion: it's drawn the best, it has peaceful colours and not too many details. Personally I think the first two are a bit too... "fancy" to be credible as Pokémon. The new ones (DPPt ones) are more like that, though, so I guess they would be perfectly fine for the next generation.

    Anyway, keep it up and you'll be famous one day!

    Spacial Palkia looks rather awesome, although Shaphoid is one of the coolest Pokemon I've ever seen. =3

    Hi, sorry... but I won't be posting art anymore. I've come to a point in my life where I have to give up something in order to move on to college... and I took up art late in my life, so it is unfortunately the thing that has to go.
