My New Newb Team PLEASE help

Tyranitar is not a Ground type. ._. I would have left Rock Slide in over Earthquake or Focus Punch.

Charizard: Swords Dance/Overheat/Earthquake/Aerial Ace
Slash and Iron Tail are horrible moves for Charizard to use.

Looks decently solid to me, otherwise.

Charzard @ Leftovers
Trait:Blaze
EVs' 190 HP/103 Attack/120 Defence/100 SP.At/ 42Speed
Adament Nature
- Sword Dance
- Overheat
- Earthquake
- Arial Ace

Tryantitar @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs:146 HP / 143 Atk / 150 Def / 71 SDef
- Rockslide
- Crunch
- Substitute
- Megakick??????

Didnt edit much here just one thing for Tryantitar and two for charzard.

I can finnally continue playing my emereld game =]

- Sword Dance/Sunny Day
- Overheat
- Slash/Dragon claw
- Iron Tail

I switched this guy with Flygon because i already had two Ground type pokemon...Tryantitat and Swampert...I thought this would be a nice replace.

It isn't. If you don't want Flygon, then go with Salamence instead. It is much better than Charizard in many ways, primarily a much higher base Atk, and a much better type.

Salamence @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EVs; 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Rock Slide / Brick Break

Swampert @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 120 Def / 80 SAtk / 40 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Protect / Rest
- Hydro Pump

Surf is more accurate..im wondering if i should switch Hydropump with it...idk if i like protect either sure i dont get hit once but i cant do any damage..it's bassicly a move where nothing happens besides the opponent losing PP...

As you have been told numerous times already, while Surf may be more accurate, due to Swampert's lower base SATk, Hydro Pump allows it to OHKO things it otherwise couldn't with Surf. Protect is also a great move as it prevents your opponent from attacking and allows another 1/16 HP recovery. I would have you put Rest on it instead of Dusclops.

Alakazam @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Punch
- Recover
- Psychic
- Thunderpunch

Switched out Ice Punch with Recover..or should i use calm mind? Or should i keep ice and get rid of thunder or fire?

It is your preference. Be warned that Recover might not work out as well as you might think.

Tryantitar @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs:146 HP / 143 Atk / 150 Def / 71 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

Took out rockslide because i have EQ and switched TW with crunch because it looks pretty

Rock Slide gets STAB while Earthquake doesn't. You also already have Earthquake on Swampert and now on Salamence. Don't Replace Focus Punch.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 204 HP / 96 Atk / 152 Def / 56 SDef
Careful Nature (+SP def, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Shadow Ball
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Dusclops @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 204 HP / 136 Atk / 56 Def / 112 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Will-o-wisp
- Shadow ball
- Pain Split

Im thinking it's looking like a very pretty team...thanks for everyones help..it probably still needs to be fixed out...so please help lol
Breed for Pain Split. It can be a bigger help for you than Rest.

Yup then get a male that knows it then breed it and a female Mudkip that knows it and what do you know you got yourself a Mudkip Lv.5 with Hydro Pump now all you need to do is level him up!

Mmm...Back up, I thought Swampert can't learn it.
Oh wait, just thought it out...
(poke in Swamperts group/Hydro Pump)+Female Mudkip=Mudkip Lv5/Hydro Pump

Right?

Now that my head feels better a little bit, I think I can do this now
Charizard @ Leftovers
Trait:Blaze
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spd / 92 SAtk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Wing Attack/Aerial Ace
- Fire Blast
Although Charizard is my Favorite Pokemon, I'm afraid to say Salamence holds superiority over this.

The only thing DDZard has going is that he can actually OHKO Skarm, unlike Salamence.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 120 Def / 80 SAtk / 40 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Protect
- Hydro Pump
Surf is more accurate..im wondering if i should switch Hydropump with it...idk if i like protect either sure i dont get hit once but i cant do any damage..it's bassicly a move where nothing happens besides the opponent losing PP...
...As well as get extra lefties recovery, not to mention predict the enemy's next oncoming move.

And like I say, Surf is useless on Swampert. If you're not going to use Surf, then use an all Physical Swampert. =/

Alakazam @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Punch
- Recover
- Psychic
- Thunderpunch

Switched out Ice Punch with Recover..or should i use calm mind? Or should i keep ice and get rid of thunder or fire?
Put Ice Punch back in there. Recover on Zam is far too useless if you're not packing Defense and HP EVs of some sort.

Tyrantitar @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs:252 HP / 224 Atk / 32 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

Took out rockslide because i have EQ and switched TW with crunch because it looks pretty
Rock Slide offers STAB, which is something Earthquake doesn't offer. Not to mention that it can annihilate almost everything.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 204 HP / 96 Atk / 152 Def / 56 SDef
Careful Nature (+SP def, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Shadow Ball
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Okay.

Dusclops @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 204 HP / 136 Atk / 56 Def / 112 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Will-o-wisp
- Shadow ball
- Pain Split
Clop has ABSOLUTELY NO HP to use Rest with.

Im thinking it's looking like a very pretty team...thanks for everyones help..it probably still needs to be fixed out...so please help lol
gu

Ugh i accedently pressed the back button on my mouse so i have to retype everything again...lol

Switching Charzard with Salimence...

Salanebce @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EV's 4 HP/252 Attack/ 252 Speed
Adament Nature (+attack -Sp attack)
- Arial Ace
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Brick Break

w00t!!

And i got my Brave nature swampert..gunna breed for Hydro Pump

Putting Ice Punch back on Alakazam

Taking out EQ on Tryanitar replacing it with Crunch and replacing Focus Punch with Mega Kick/Punch because Focus Punch is bassicly a Hyperbeem in a fighting state...flinching after you use it..so unless i get something that can get rid of flinching..wich i havent looked up yet.

And putting Pain Split on Dusclops..

Only thing im worried about is Tryanitar's ability..and how it will affect my other pokes...

It's Sandstorm will slaughter everything..so either i have to use him last..or get rid of him

It would make a pretty effect..fighting someone and they think i have a wimpy pokemon last and use tryanitar and totally slaughter them..so idk..

Any help on Tryanitar's moves and his ability would be spectacular (And no i wont take him out he's to pretty)

Fixes and suggestions once again in bold:

Don't use CBmence on a team with Tyranitar. It really needs that HP recovery from Leftovers to counter the Sandstorm. Rock Slide is also preferred over Brick Break, but if you can't get it then you can't get it.

No, no, no, no. Do not replace Focus Punch. It is nothing like the craptacular Hyper Beam. You just aren't understanding how to use it. Competitively, you use it against your opponent when they switch out a Poke against you. Focus Punch goes last and will only hit if your Tyranitar doesn't get attacked that turn. When an opponent switches out, they don't attack that turn, allowing Tyranitar's Focus Punch to hit whatever Poke comes in against it.

Against the pathetic AI that would rather lose than switch out, your strategy is different. This is where Substitute comes in. Bring in Tyranitar against a Poke that it is strong against, and then use Substitute. The weak attack (or if the AI uses an non-attacking move which it is often prone to do) won't break the Sub that turn. Now you have at least one free turn with Focus Punch. Anything your opponent does will be absorbed by the Sub, allowing your Focus Punch to hit. The SubPunch combo is deadly effective on Pokes like Tyranitar, Gengar, Dragonite, and even Aggron.

BTW - avoid using Normal moves on non-Normal Pokes whenever possible. Normal attacks offer no benefit whatsoever.

In-game, its trait doesn't matter at all. Unless you are like me and have a personal rule of never using items during a battle. When you battle competitively though, Tyranitar's trait can really screw up your opponent, not to mention yourself if you are not careful. Just make sure that your Pokes have Leftovers to nullify the HP loss, and having more than one Ground/Rock/Steel-type (or a Poke with the Sand Veil Trait) doesn't hurt either.

Brave is a wasted nature on Salamence. Go with Adamant. If you REALLY don't like the SAtk drop, use Naughty.

Ugh need to breed for two more pokemon and im finnally done...

Brave Lavitar and a Careful Snorelax...

I breeded for a Impish Duskull w/Pain Split
Adament Bagon
Timid Abra with Ice/Fire/Thunder punch -omfg yay
And a Brave Mudkip because i evolved it not knowing Swampert couldnt learn Hydrop Pump

Theese last two are gunna be hard..10,000 steps each..
Im doing Lavitar right now and i have a half a box full of Lavitars just hoping one will hatch into a brave one..
then after i finish that hopefully will be in the next hour have to go onto snorelax.
I have a Careful Ditto but i dont know if that will rais the chance of getting a Careful Snorelax (Breeding in Saphire)
Also i have a Slugma with Magma Armor in my party..but i dont think it's cutting my steps in half at all..=[
so hopefully i will be done soon..

Lol thanks.

I just spent all day hurting my fingers by breeding..

Lol i have like 2 and a half boxes full of just snorelaxes...
i relesed every other pokemon after i got the one i needed..otherwise all my boxes would be packed. I also have a box full of eggs i cant get rid of...

Eggs you can't get rid of? You better get to hatching them then.

imo, i think its better if you use the 4 moves more wisely; as combos ..for an example..

Snorlax @ Chesto Berry (awakening)
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 204 HP / 96 Atk / 152 Def / 56 SDef
Careful Nature (+SP def, -SAtk)
- substitute
- focus punch (pp max)
- Rest
- Belly Drum

First use belly drum to max the attack power then rest, chesto berry awakens snorlax.
Substitute then keep on focus punchin'..well i know its a long procedure but worthy though.

do the same with other pokes...

Lol i know that..

can anyone tell me why i cant trade Lavitar and Snorelax into Emereld but i can trade to Saphire?

I have all the badges in Saphire if that makes a difference?
I have told you this before. You cannot trade to Emerald until you have the National Pokedex. You get the NP after you defeat the Weak5.

Sorry, but that is a very bad moveset. Ghost Pokes likes Gengar switch in and laugh at you since you cannot hit them, forcing you to switch out and lose the effect of Belly Drum. Stalkerlax or Curselax are both MUCH more effective.
